For me it was no one thing, but the overall experience. It was, and I know this may sound silly and simple, but it an overwelming feeling of joy. We felt completely safe, and since 9-11 that is a feeling that we treasure.
I have been on a number of cruise lines over the years and what makes Disney special is the attention to detail. Whether it is in the decorating of the ship, or the attention you get from the crew, Disney is tops in my book!
Add to that a slice of paradise called Castaway Cay and you have a near perfect cruise.
The smooth disembarkation process is the icing on the cake.
hmmmmmmmmm lest see......... Mickey,Goofy,Donald,Minnie and others. the Mickey pool. Castaway Cay(never forget that place) and all the memories you get. the look on DD face when she saw mickey. or when we all saw the WONDER for the first time. there are too many to count
its like ericamanda01 said, just being full of joy and feeling safe, we are in another world when we cruise on DCL and cherish each new memory we make. it's an undescribable feeling that comes from the heart.
I think it is knowing that my children are having a magical experience. I know they are safe and having so much disney fun.
It feels more like a family experience. I know I can take my kids to the early shows and I don't have to worry about the content.
It is a true family vacation.
My love for Disney goes back to childhood. My husband and I have been to Disney World 35 times and have been on 5 Disney cruises, Yet everytime I hear the ship horn blastin, "When You Wish Upon A Star." I get all choked up.
