it seems like a good deal $47.00 per person per day but unable to find out much info on the plan itself .example are the reataurants that accept the coupons good places to eat and are there alot who take the coupons ?
in short is it a good deal or not ?
anyone that has used them i would really like to hear from you t

If you're talking about the dining plan you must be referring to the "deluxe" package. The MYW dining pkg is $38.00 adult $11.00.

I've used the dining plan and cannot reccomend it highly enough. Well worth the money and it's so convenient.

If you go to the restaurants forum, there is an entire thread dedicated to the dining plan, very useful. Enjoy! :thumbsup2

I just got back yesterday and we loved the dining plan!! Most places do take the dining plan -not coupons just a swipe of your ticket. If you want to eat a table service every day you will get way more than your money's worth. Make sure you make reservations though. I can't tell you how many people walked up looking for seating only to be turned away.

yes do the plan worth it. the disney site has a list of participating rest under dining finder and all ears and this forum have menues that you can check out. any other questions feel free to PM me.

Check out the restaurant board - they have a thread for the dining plan that should answer all your ?'s.

The dining plan is a great deal if you are staying in a park hotel. We just came back from a trip in February. For our family of 5, it was more than enough to eat. The average bills on the counter service meals was 60-100 dollars, the table service meals are 100-200 dollars for 5. You can eat cheaper, sure, but it will be tough to eat for less than 45.00 a day per adult, unless you want burgers and fries everyday. Best meal we had was at the coral reef restaurant. The bill came to 210 the first night and 239 the second night..... we ate great and had 16 snack coupons left at the end of the trip ( used for 16 mickey ears rice crispies)
** If you go to the Disney site, click on dining finder under plan and prepare, then click on the dining plan icon. From there you will see a description of the plan. If you click on selected restaurants there is a link that will allow you to download the plan including participating restaurants. **
We ate well, and will definately use the dining again next time we go.

daver,

How did you like POR? We are going in July and that is one of our choices! We have to get 2 rooms as we have 4 kids!

we are also going in May and have booked the dining package.I have already prebooked our dinners at Corel Reef, CRT, Chef Mickeys, Hoop Dee Doo, 50s Prime Time Cafe. Spaces are limited.
If you go to the first Dis board and under Dining. you will find Dining plan board click on the dining plan FAQ and from there you can see all the restaurants and it shows the menus for lunch/dinner and the kids menus.
Seems like a huge deal to me!
Can't wait.
We are staying at Pop Century May 21-28th :cool1:

When we went in Oct we decided to use the plan. We LOVED it!!! We are planning another trip and wouldn't dream of not using it. We were lucked into the promotion so we didn't pay for it, but I had orginally planned to purchase.

There are 4 of us myself, Dh, DD 10 & DS 6. Stayed at POP and what we did (learned this on the 3rd day) was shared 2 breakfast, and 2 lunches because it was so much, then we used mostly table service for dinner. We did have one breakfast table service @ 1900 Park Fare. Next time will do a couple more breakfast tables service and less dinner ones as at times we were too tired. We used 2 table service on the Hoop De Doo and it was definately worth it, our son got to go onstage!!! We definately got our monies worth and it was so convienent that we didn't have to worry about money.

I agree on making reservations! No need to pay for a plan when you can't use the table service because they aren't taking anymore walk-ups.
