I admit ... I seldom purchase WDW tickets. I'm a CM, I have comps for family, etc. So when someone asked me a ticket question, I read the sticky, looked at the various permutations, and promptly realized that math is hard, and I am NOT a ticket person!
So ... I come to you who are. This will probably be a really easy one for you guys, but I kept coming up with different numbers. So ... please ... help?
Here's the sitch:
Question is ... how much will that cost? And what is the best way to do that (I'm assuming after they've used them the first day)?
Many thanks (and maybe even a little Disney swag
) for the person who can answer this vexing (to me) mathematical question.

Here's the sitch:
- Family of four -- two adults, two kids (one is 4, one turns 3 the day they arrive)
- Five days in the parks; park-hopper preferred but not absolutely necessary
- They are starting with CM discounted two-day base tickets which have been purchased through me by a friend of theirs ... total = $695.88
- When they arrive on day one, they want to upgrade to five-day tickets, possibly with PH
