I need help to figure out if the 20percent off a value is better than free dining for 4 adults and 3 kids. If we got free dining we would upgrade to at least regular dining. How much more would it cost to upgrade to deluxe? If we can't get free dining at our current resort (pop) and we have to upgrade to a mod we might.

I tried to do the math but when I booked the 20 off 2 rooms at pop I was charged way more the what I calculated on the website.

20% off a Value is about a $20/day return (rooms are generally just over $100/night, less during value season). Assuming you have 2 rooms, you would save about $40/day on those rooms, combined.

Free QS dining is worth about $40/day per adult and just over $10/day per child under 10.

So, save $40/day with the room discount, or save almost $200/day with free dining.

I think I have it figured out even if I have to upgrade to a moderate resort from a value to get free dining if the values are all booked up for the free dining discount I would save apx 100 dollars per room from my current pricing at a value with 20percent off with deluxe dining moving to a moderate with free dining upgraded to deluxe
