I've done the marathon weekend in January several years as well as the Tower of Terror 10 miler currently on hiatus and will be doing the Wine and Dine half this year, basically when you have 15,000-30,000 people doing these races you get those that stay for a week and you get those that get there on Saturday to leave the next day.For the last couple of years during the January marathon weekend that has a similar setup with the main race on Sunday morning I would drive in on Friday morning and stay until Monday,up until this year I would only do the full marathon so technically I could get in on Saturday and still pick up my bib and shirt but this year doing the Goofy challenge I had to get there on Friday since I was doing the half on Saturday and full on Sunday.having an AP I go pretty often but for this weekend I pretty much dedicate the entire weekend to either running the races or just being a spectator so even if I'm not running I would still get up in the middle of the night to go see the half marathon even if I wasn't running it.What that means is that by the late afternoon you're wiped out and ready to eat something around 6-7 pm and then go to sleep,I think on my January trip to do Goofy I rode Space mountain and Journey into Imagination, that's it!!
