We have a quick trip planned for one day in parks before heading to the beach. We are staying at Pop and can do parks on either Friday Nov 4 or Saturday Nov 5. I see now that there are 5k and 10k runs on those days. How do those runs impact parks or crowds?

The races finish before or shortly after the parks open, so they don’t usually affect the parks much if at all. The 5K on Friday starts at 6 AM and ends around 9 and is only at Epcot so is the least likely to impact anything.

The races now start at 5:00 am. There will be no impact to the parks on Friday or Saturday. Only Sunday for the half marathon, and it's really on EPCOT that might see anything, but since it doesnt open until 10:00 - it will be minimal. Parking at EPCOT is a little busier, and some bus routes may be altered from resorts like AK, CS, and All Stars.

Thanks for the corrections. Getting up and catching the bus in time for a 6 AM start was early enough for our 5K back in 2017! ;)
