Disney Marathon rumors ... any news of the new Princess Marathon?

Of course since I've decided to try my hand at the Minnie Marathon next year, the marathon has been canceled , but rumor has it a new Princess Marathon will be taking it's place.

I can find information about a lot of the marathons at Disney, including the new Tower of Terror Night Time Marathon set for the weekend before Halloween, but nothing about the rumored Princess Marathon.

Does anyone know of any rumors or facts about the Princess Marathon or why the Minnie Marathon was canceled?

I did the MINNIE marathon and post on the WISH boards, just a hop over from these boards. The MINNIE did not fill up this year and it was posted on WISH boards by someone who has contact with the director of the races that they are changing it to a 1/2 marathon next year to be a Princess Marathon. I don't know when they will confirm it but I am sure they will have shorter races associated, 1 mile, 5 k etc. You should join us on the WISH boards - Events board sometime!!
