Disney makes me cry

Disney is funny, isn't it. I just had to cancel my long awaited 1st trip home to WDW (and 1st WDW trip ever) because I'm having back surgery at the end of this month. I'm actually so bummed that I have tears rolling down my cheeks - that only happens with a Disney vacation.

But, the DVC silver lining is that I also have a trip planned to WDW in Oct before our Western Carrib Disney Cruise! So alls not lost, I just have to wait a bit longer! And I have 45+ years to go on the same January trip I just had to cancel. Love it!

Oh dear join the club! We should be at AKV right now but the day before we were due to fly I ended up in hospital with kidney stones so was not fit to fly Upside is we have rebook for my birthday in February and are going for 3 extra nights

Aww I hope you feel better soon. I'm in the same boat. I'm supposed to leave for my first disney xmas trip on sat and had to cancel. My fiance and I just broke up so we are calling the trip off, but i def could have used some disney magic!
