DIsney Magical Express ?

So I booked my familes trip through Expedia a little over a month ago, and when I spoke to my Expedia trip adviser about it, she informed me that we qualified for Disneys magical express, and that we didnt have to do anything but show up at the waiting area at the Orlando Airport, and we would be good to go.

Well needless to say when I was printing out my info this weekend, I saw that we needed to register...at least 10 days ahead of time. Well tonight is 8 days before we register...

Sooooo...Have I ruined my families first vacation to DW? Or will calling them in the morning have any effect at all on fixing this problem....
 
I would try calling in the am. The biggest thing is that you won't get the special yellow tags that mark your luggage for them so they can identify it as going to the appropriate resort. I don't usually fly. I drive down and stay longer with my children and my husband flies down and joins us. I seem to remember one time he either forgot to register or he registered but never got the package (just a booklet with 2 yellow tags for each person to attach to their luggage). Anyway, they told him to go to the Magical Express desk and give them his luggage receipt tags and they would still find his luggage and deliver it. And surprisingly there were no problems with it being lost or misdirected.

Oh well see the thing is, I dont think we are even going to have to check any luggage on the way down. There are 4 of us, 2 of which are small children so we should be more than capable of getting everything into 4 carry ons no problem.

I just did not want to get down there and not be able to ride the motorcoach to the resort (Port Orleans Riverside), which I think is going to be a big part of my daughters trip excitement.
 
Call Magic Express directly. The number is 866-599-0951. They may express mail the travel voucher booklet and yellow tags to you. At least they can get you registered to ride the bus.
 

You can call and make a (required advance) reservation to use Magical Express itself with less than 8 days' notice even though you don't get the yellow tags in time.

You cannot just show up at the DME welcoming area without a reservation.
 
i would recommend getting a rent car to is very fast and you can go answer you want wen ever
 
I agree call ME. But even if you can't utilize the service, no you won't "ruin" your family's trip.

You'll simply need to rent a car or towncar service to get you to WDW.

Soooo, did you call DME and if so, what happened?? We always like to know the outcome here. That way others can learn what, and what not, to do!!
