At this point, I hope the boys do have off tomorrow, then they will have the weekend, and THEN we are expecting another storm that they are saying, Might be worse then this one! It's suppose to hit Mon, Tues and Weds! I have to admit, when we first moved here, I never understood why they called school here for just a little bit of snow, but once you drive around, you start to understand. No road is flat in WV. My backyard is considered "WV Flat". LOL It has a gentle slope to it. Certainly, not Ohio flat! The road in front of the house is a hill....and the cars have had a heck of a time getting up and down it. I wasn't really sure we'd be going to the movie, but we did. If you drive back some of these hollows...pronounced hollars.....where there is mountain on one side and sheer drop with just a guardrail to slow you down on the other, I can't imagine trying to get a bus through there on a normal day, nevertheless one like today. That said, I would not be surprised if we still had tomorrow off. Especially, since we are to get another inch or 2 of the white stuff!

Steve is very excited about getting this Tahoe. I don't know what inspired him to trade though. We went to the car show on Friday, DID NOT even LOOK at a Tahoe or any Hybrid for that matter. By Friday night, he found this one last 2008 at a dealership an hour away. We called Saturday morning and they still had it. Took the drive out there, only to find that someone backed into it, and it was already taken to the body shop for the bumper to be buffed and painted. It was back Monday, but then the owner didn't like the paint job and sent it back! It came back Tuesday, Steve finalized the paperwork with the bank and we are off to get it tonight. It's white with light gray interior. It is a Hybrid and we should get 21 city and 22 highway. We are going to drive to FL in June, so I imagine we'll be taking this truck and not mine. I imagine we'll be taking this truck everywhere we go now! Oh well, I still LOVE mine!! I think we might actually keep mine long enough to pay it off! LOL See, we have never paid off a car....we have had more cars then any family should in their entired married life! and we're not done yet! LOL

Okay, I better get the last load out of the dryer...Steve should be home in a few!

Kristin, those look like great deals! I wish Steve had more vacation time, but since his runs from June to June, He'll use one week June 14, 2009 and one week May 30, 2010. That gives him 2 more weeks, but he usually takes one week as pay and one week as misc days through the year as we need them.

Erika, we went to see Mall Cop. It was cute. It has a great soundtrack! LOL Love those '70s and '80s!

Candy, did you get a hold of the Doctor? Were you able to get Megan in today?

Kristin, those look like great deals! I wish Steve had more vacation time, but since his runs from June to June, He'll use one week June 14, 2009 and one week May 30, 2010. That gives him 2 more weeks, but he usually takes one week as pay and one week as misc days through the year as we need them.

Hanna woke up yesterday with this wicked cough and this morning it was soo bad she could not speak without coughing.....I took her to the dr. this afternoon and she has the start of bronchitis. She is on ten days of an anitboitic.....I am getting so sick of them being sick... They have been sick soo much this winter it really stinks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay the weatherman said we should get 1-2 inches of snow tomorrow. Especially in the early morning, then tapering off by afternoon. Hhhmmm, me thinks 2 hour delay, at the least...... Or they send them to school and then send them home 2 hours early! Okay, THEN he started talking about this next front that will move in Mon and linger until Weds. He said that this next storm is "Going to be the real deal" Um, then WHAT did we just have?? He didn't give the actual amount of snow, but said things like heavy and significant amounts. I better wax up the runners on my sled this weekend!!

Oh yeah...and buy milk and bread too! LOL

okay kids, I am heading to bed...where it's warm and cozy. I have been cold since we stopped at the IHOP for dinner. I think they had the air conditioning on..or a window open. It was so cold, I left my coat on!

It's ANOTHER snow day!!! This is amazing to me. I really just thought they would have a 2 hour delay, but not a cancellation!!! Oh well, makes me feel better about not working this week. Had I not been "laid off" i still wouldn't have worked due to the weather. Although, her Mom's truck has been there all week...except Tuesday...that was the worst day. I don't think anyone went anywhere that day.

I checked AccuWeather last night. I don't know..this next storm has the potential of being huge. If you look at thier weather map, it puts us under this white swath that says, and I quote, "Crippling Snow". Ruh roh. That doesn't sound good at all!! maybe i better see about buying another bundle of wood for the fireplace. Crippling snow, to me, means LOTS of snow, and that could mean downed power lines, again. What a mess!!!! Although, with this one, they haven't said anything about ice. that's good...

I better get busy. Going to do all the sheets today...what a chore....

Wow, it sounds like you all are having a tough time with weather!!
Our rain was short lived, now the temp is around 80, not a cloud in sight, and windy!! WE NEED MORE RAIN!!!! They're talking about having to ration (sp?)
water soon!! UGH

I have to make a Dr appointment for Meagan. She is having alot of headaches, I think it might be a sinus infection!!

we've had snow flurries all day. I just looked out and one of the neighbor boys is trying to snowboard down the hill in front of the house. I think we've got about 2" more of the white fluff!!
