It's Official! No School again tomorrow!! That's 3 days in a row and 5 this month!! This will be 6 snow days for this school year. I think that's the most we've ever had, and we still have snow through February, sometimes March! Steve is home, safe and sound!

Michele, I watched your video of the kids sledding. It looks like they all had FUN..

Gald to hear Steve is home safe and sound... Tomorrow we are to get snow too....

I went shopping to the outlets today with my mom it was a great day.,,

Well, we kept power in the house through the night...although it did flicker a bit before we went to bed. The pine trees behind the house are laden with ice and with 3 more inches of snow expected today, they might be breaking!!

Nancy, did you get the 4" you were expecting?

I think I am going to make tortellini soup today!!!

I called Steve to tell him it was going to get worse and that we were under a State Of Emergancy. He said he got a memo from higher ups that said, "Rite Aid does not close due to inclement weather. If you are lacking customers, work on XYZ." Hhhmmmm, the 911 is telling people to stay off the roads unless it's an emergancy, the Gov. sent everyone home that was a Non Essential State Employee, the news is now saying that we should expect downed powerlines and fallen trees. But By Golly, Rite Aid WILL be open!!!!

not 4 inches yet!!!!!!!!!!! but it is still snowing, and it will continue until tonight...more tomorrow and mild over the weekend. The schools are open for us...bummer
It is getting bad out there, I almost had 2 accidents in the 5 minutes it takes me to drive home from school.

I am good busy week thus far.. Hoping tomorrow to just stay home...

The girls and I read a book last night and it had some oragami pictures in it and we are working on making birds, etc. right now!!!!!!

Kristin, Connor and his friend Travis have been into Oragami this last few weeks! I have more folded little peice of paper laying around! LOL Sunday, during church, Connor was folding this itty bitty paper into swans. He had a Momma swan and 3 itty bitty baby swans! LOL I nearly smashed them when I adjusted in my seat! As long as he is listening, he can fidgit!

Now it's back to snow!! We had those great big 50 cent piece sized flakes a bit ago, now it's a finer snow, but still accumulating. We are still trying to figure out if we'll even have school tomorrow. With the over night rain, some of the snow has melted and the water is laying on the roads. It's going into the 20s tonight and all the water will freeze! The snow plows have clogged up the drains, and so the water is draining!!! If they cancel tomorrow, they might as well cancel for Friday! It's suppose to snow again on Friday and be in the 20's for a high...low I think of 9!

Well, I better get something done around here. With the kids home, I am LAZY! I just sit here at the computer and watch them play PS3 and Wii and jump in now and then.... I guess I would rather my kids remember time with me then whether the house was spit spot or not!

We did the ice that came down last night was amazing. Bruce is out there trying to clear the driveway and it is not working too well...

we got better then a delay! We got another day off!! they cancelled at about 10pm last night The neighbor was on facebook last night...she has friends that still don't have power. We think that might have been one of the deciding factors. Plus, the road infront of our house is a sheet of ice. All that slush from the last few days is frozen over. The radio is reporting the main roads are clear, but the on/off ramps and secondary roads are bad still. If they don't get salt down today, we might not have school tomorrow too!

Today, we will clean house this morning, hit McD's for lunch then a movie. Steve is getting off at 4 so we can go to get his New Tahoe Hybrid. Then we'll have dinner out and come home!

Wow, it sounds like you all are having a tough time with weather!!
Our rain was short lived, now the temp is around 80, not a cloud in sight, and windy!! WE NEED MORE RAIN!!!! They're talking about having to ration (sp?)
water soon!! UGH

I have to make a Dr appointment for Meagan. She is having alot of headaches, I think it might be a sinus infection!!
