Man, this weekend, has flown by! Even with it ending up being a 3 day weekend.

Allen, wish I was in TN with you!! I have never been at Christmas time! I bet it's beautiful!!!

Everyone enjoy their day! The weatherman predicts we'll be near 60 today! I doubt it since there is still some snow on the ground. but what do I know? I am not a weatherman!

Just got back from the Girl Scouts Breakfast with Santa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So much for skateable pond!!! The spent that time yesterday to make the rink and today we wake up to pouring rain, and it's now totally ruined! And what an interesting weather day here. Pouring rain this morning, tons and tons of it, with a temp of about 33 degrees. In the last twenty minutes it's dropped to 25 and everything is frozen solid, including my driveway, the street, etc etc LOL. It's supposed to be below 0 tonight with 35 below windchills in the morning. Yuck!

I was watching food network and saw this funky place, and they said it's in Mpls, so I looked it up and it sounds yummy! The website is a riot!

well we went house shopping today, looked at 4 of them and had no luck finding anyhting we really liked......oh well....maybe next time...

they were north of Toronto about a 40 minute drive for Denis if we moved there. There were some things I liked about each, but none had those things that I wanted in the same house....does that make sense? LOL
one had a large backyard but the house needed a TON of work and updating and it was too small...one had a small backyard but little to be done on the outside....
we'll keep looking LOL

It is, but silly me didn't take any pix of the decorations. Pictures couldn't do it justice anyway. We took the girls to Ober Gatlinburg to ice skate, and I took some up there. I'll try to post some of those later.

Evening everyone!!

Been busy trying to get this house in order!! Then, as I was vacuuming Colton's room...I had the lights off so it was fairly dark in there....I kept going over this "fuzz" and I wondered why it wasn't coming up!? Well, because that "fuzz" was ink! Here I thought that pen explosion was just on the left side of his bed. No, it's on the right side too. And how I missed it, I'll never know! LOL Colton and I spent the next hour and half blotting and dabbing and then rubbing alcohol on the spots. THOUSANDS of spots!! The carpet is essentially ruined, but I am not getting new yet. I'll work on the spots some more another day. Some of them came up easy, some left a faint purple stain and some look like they haven't been touched. Oh well......

Erika, sorry your pond got messed up!! I was actually on the weather channel for a brief few minutes when they were talking about your area and how quickly the weather was changing with that front moving in! Stay safe! Sounds too dangerous to go out!!

Nancy, just be patient. The right house will come along, and it will probably be when you least expect it! This house was For Sale By Owner, so we didn't even know it was on the market until we drove by. Our realtor got us the showing and helped us close the sale. It's perfect!

Allen, would love to see the photos!!

Evening all. Nancy, keep looking, the right house is there somewhere!

Oh yeah, our weather gets better and better, it has dropped 30 degrees in 3 hours, now it's snowing a little too, and it's windy as heck.

I have stuff listed on craigslist and some guy came to pick something up and couldn't get up my driveway in his SUV.

Michele, We took the kids to the Girl Scouts Breakfast with Santa. It was FUN they enjoyed seeing Santa....Then we baked cookies. We were supposed to go to a friends house to have all of the kids do cookies but she has a newborn and with my cough I was not comfortable going to her house. So we made cookies here with the kids and then they played while we cleaned up....LOL!!!!!!!!!!!! Then we all watched the Santa Clause tonight... One more full week of school and then three short days till the kiddies are home for a full two weeks. I can't wait to have them home with me.. Oh gosh, What am I saying???LOL!!! After, two weeks I'll be ready to send them back. No, just kidding.... Not sure what we will do on the vacation yet but will have to plan some FUN stuff for them to do...!!!

Michele, the kicker is that my friend was like come over...it does not matter. Hello, you have a newborn yes it does matter. The school just called and asked me to sub. for them tomorrow they are really short for tomorrow. I told them no I have hardly any voice and the cough is still really really bad. The cough meds. are not stopping it and I wish it would make it stop I am getting worried about my lung collapasing!!!!!!! The cough med. says it has codeine in it but wondering if I should take more of it??!!!!

Steve is on the phone with his Mom. I'll ask him when he gets off, but I would venture to guess, that if you are taking 3 times the prescribed amount, as directed by your Dr, you are maxing out on the amount you can safely take. Honestly, I don't know how you are still walking!

I think I am going to have to call my Dr tomorrow. I just can't kick this cough! Otherwise, I feel fine!
