Hi everyone!!
We too, did not have school today. At 5:30am it was a 2 hour delay, then at 7:30 they cancelled school all together. Our school has an automated system that calls everyone that registers. Pretty nice really! Then you don't have to listen to the radio or TV. We got about 2 inches of snow, but under that was ice because of all the rain we had in the last 2 days.
I was SO happy about a snow day, UNTIL Jennifer called.

Can you PLEASE come over for about 3 hours? I HAVE to do this lunch at the hospital cancer center today. I'm a sucker and can't say NO! So, I got out of bed, showered and went over.
When she got home at 1, I took my boys to lunch at McD's and then to
Walmart to shop for groceries and gifts. Can you say CHA-CHING? Sheesh, I think that was close to a record. The bummer of it? I forgot to look at something I wanted to get my parents, so we need to go back!
It started snowing those BIG puffy pretty flakes when we were leaving walmart and the roads are covered again, but we REALLY need to get out to the mall tonight. Colton is wanting to go, Connor is not, but I don't feel comfortable going that far with him home alone. If we don't go tonight, we'll have to go in the morning, and either way, it's gonna be crowded. But will the roads be any better in the morning? Connor just told me again he doesn't want to go. We told the boys we need to get jerseys for a party we are going to for the Bowl game. Then we'll leave for the beach after the game.

But if we go to Huntington tonight, see what they have and get if they have them, if not we can go to Charleston tomorrow.
LOL Okay, Connor said, give me to 615 and then I'll get ready. LOL He is sitting with his feet under a heating pad. When I left Jennifer's this afternoon, the dog got out. She and I were trying to coax him back and I called the boys to tell them I would be a few more minutes. Connor threw on his
crocs and a jacket and came walking up to help. He heard dogs barking and ran into the neighbor's backyard to find the dogs fence fighting. Connor grabbed Bennie and started to walk him back when we saw him. In that short time, his feet turned blood red and sore. He had no socks, just his crocs. He has been complaining about his feet all evening. He finally went and got the heating pad in hopes to warm them up. LOL He also has on my Pink Dr Scholls Spa Socks! LOL Only Connor.....
Well, since we are heading back out, I better get ready!
See you all later!
