Hi and Goodnight all. I didn't really read too much of the 4 pages. I am beat tired, I have been up since 4:30 and have not yet sat down. I am going upstairs to watch TV, I'll probably be asleep in 4 minutes.

Major issues trying to decorate the dang tree tonight, so it's not done, and the outside lights are not totally done yet either, hmph! I need to run a couple more errands tomorrow, but I like shopping on this weekend.

Erika, have fun shopping and decorating!!! It's a lot of work, but enjoyable once it's done!

My foot and leg feel pretty good today...probably because I didn't do ANYTHING yesterday! Which is good and bad. I HAVE to do my yardwork today. It's going to rain tomorrow and snow on Monday.

My laptop is sick. We turned it off to go to my sister's and when we got home, Steve turned it on and it has a virus. At some point it downloaded a Mirar toolbar? This thing has taken over my computer. You can't do ANYTHING with it! I am just praying we don't loose the 7 years of photographs that are on it! I will be just heart broke if we loose those! Steve worked on it some last night, but I don't think he got very far.

Off to have some breakfast and then start in the yard. I'll just take my time and do what I can.

Erika, have fun shopping and decorating!!! It's a lot of work, but enjoyable once it's done!

Michelle I went looking for that. Ugh what a pain! It's not a virus, it's an add-on you just can't get rid of. The write up on multiple web sites says it has the ability to hide and come back when it wants and when it is there it searches for pages alike what you are viewing then bombards you with advertisements.
I thought of Spybot search and destroy and Ad-aware but I found lots of pages where people said it was impossible to remove it using them. Here's the link. I don't know what to say. Maybe post it on the community board, there are lots of computer geeks on there who may be able to help you. I think I'd be taking my laptop to the shop if I had that.
One good thing is it's a browser thing so your pictures will be ok.

oh my gosh that would be terrible to lose all those pics!!!!!! I always try to have a backup, either memory cards or cd's.....I couldn't stand it!!!!!!

I did a little digging and reading on this and it is manually removable. There are several steps and some that require removing several line items from the registry, not something just anyone should attempt as you well know. That brings me to my thought....If it can be removed by changing the registry, why can't you "restore" the computer, using a restore point, back a few days or a week, and get rid of it that way?? Any thoughts??

I would try doing a restore point and see if it helps. It won't hurt that's for sure.

Having a quite day here too. The kids went to a friends house for a few hours they should be home soon. We did some wrapping all of Hanna's stuff is wrapped.

We are going to have some friends over for dinner and drinks tonight.

Thanks for the idea of the restore point. I'll bring it up to Steve tonight. He said he called McCafee last night and they said they could rid us of it for $90. not sure if we are there yet.

Got the yard cleaned up and mowed, and got the lights out. Hung our Mickey Mouse Wreath this year. I haven't had it out in a few years and Colton wanted it! I made it out of 3 wreaths tied together. quick and easy!

Off to make dinner and then when Steve gets home we are heading to walmart for groceries.

Well, we finally got all the Christmas decorations out of the attic!!! Poor Randy!!! He has to deal with all that insulation!!! Our attic does not have very easy access!! There is a trap door in Meagan's room, Randy has to bring a ladder into the house then climb up into the attic and lower all 14 containers down to us, and these are not small containers either!!!!
Now comes the fun part....decorating!!! It's prabably going to take us all night and some of tomorrow!! Then we can think about lights outside, and then the tree in a couple of weeks!! It's a good thing I love Christmas!! LOL

we got our walmarting done and put away. I got a few more net lights for the bushes out front. It just needs a few more. Not sure I'll get them up tomorrow. It's supposed to rain. Hopefully, I will though.

Steve and I were joking that it was a date tonight since we left the boys at home. When we left Walmart, he asked if I wanted anything to eat, I said, if you want to stop, I'll get something, so he drove through Taco Bell. On the way home from there, I was teasing him that it really WAS a date since he took me to Taco Bell before taking me home! LOL Memories.....

He is back at my laptop. Hopefully, he'll be able to figure it out! I suggested the recovery point, he's just not sure how far back to go?

Okay, so I've been up since 830, but I've had a cup of tea, breakfast, read the Sunday paper and checked my emails. It's raining and yucky out. The only thing I HAVE to do today is get Connor another pair of jeans. We just bought him some when we got back from the cruise, but since then, football season has ended and his clothes are not fitting so good! I would also like to get the decorations up in the house. Not going to be much, but a few.

Hi everyone. The kidlets slept in a little this morning but not enough...ugh
We decided to change the livingroom around again which meant bringing the wallunit back upstairs and taking the small entertainment until downstairs. In the meantime me who is deathly alergic to dust has been sneezing and blowing me nose every 2 minutes. A little more organising downstairs and we'll be ok. DW is putting everything for sale, I think she even listed the dog...or was that the guy in the doghouse
J is watching the Santa Clause again and K has been on the computer for the last 5 hours...at least they are learning games
