How come there are so many jerks on this planet? We had Josh's birthday party today at the bowling place. $14 dollars per kid for the party and food plus one game. We had 10 kids there so it's not too hard to imagine they will get a little rowdy. One of them got away from me and before I was able to call him back, one of the drunks for a few rows away yelled at him. I was in his face faster than most people can blink because he decided to yell at a child. Well next thing you know it was 5 against one. You can guess who the one was...ME. I was trying to get to the desk to go complain to the manager and they wouldn't let me go. Between the 5 of them the counter was pretty much full of empty beer bottles. I wasn't going to make it to the desk and by now there was more than enough yelling going on it started getting the attention of people around us and they sort of made a hole so I could leave. I was flabergasted. All I could say is shut up and keep drinking. They all stood there giving me dirty looks. I am pretty sure they wanted to take me outside and roll me but to make matters worse, they finally finished their game and were leaving at the same time Nancy was back at the counter giving the slip for the food order. They were all smiles and polite and waiting for Nancy to give in her order. I looked at one of the other mom's and said look at these flipping cowards. I guess in a way it's probably a good thing I was the only guy there. I'm exhausted

Denis...talk about a fun day!!! wow!!!! Family, old friends, young friends, "new friends," bowling, food, beer, sounds like a "partay."

Hey Everyone, I heard from Gail...She and Merkie are doing good. The reason she has not been on here is because her cousin got into a serious car accident and he is in the hospital. He is going to be alright but she has been spending her time between the hospital and watching the cousins sister (she has down syndrome)While his parents are sitting with him at the hospital. So where she has been, she hasnt had access to a computer. But she wanted me to let you all know that she is good

an interesting observation on my part with the dogs. Zues is all timid around Kozmo, and sort of clingy with Daisy, she could give 2 bits that he's here. Well, I forgot that when the phone rings, Zues goes crazy barking, and he has this loud, deep bark. Well, the phone rang and he leaped off the couch and started barking. Kozmo was sort of taken aback and just watched Zues. Kozmo had his tail down and ears back, almost like HE was intimidated by him! It was really weird! I wonder if that's all it took for Kozmo to leave him alone! LOL What will be interesting is when Daisy goes to get in her spot on the couch and Zues is there.
I feel like the Dog Whisperer! LOL I am glad this is working out! It will make days of thier swim meets easier! Unfortunatly, they don't have a fenced yard, and although Zues knows his bounderies, my dogs don't, so they won't be able to stay at her house. But that's okay. She'll still help me when I need it!

Time to start dinner....baked pasta. Just wish I had some sausage for it...oh well, we'll do without!

glad everything is working out with having an extra dog in the house for the night! you just never know with dogs if they will get along or not LOL
Our dog doesn't mind other dogs, but if they get on her nerves she lets them know about it!! LOL

It actually was fine once they left. We even had a bunch of people come in to the lane right next to us and they were a blast.

he had a great time!!!!!!!! after the party the bowling place gave Josh a bowling pin for all his friends to sign and he got to keep it!! it had a huge bunch of balloons attached to it LOL

I took 1 benadryl so that I could be somewhat cohesive, but it didn't work so I had to take another one.....it's starting to kick in, my nose is no longer itching and running like a faucet, but I'm just waiting for it to totally knock me out!!! I HATE allergies!!! I usually have mild allergies almost every day, and I can usually deal with it, but this allergy attack was really bad!!!! NO fun!!

when I get allergy attacks Benedryl does nothing for me anymore, so I have to take a different brand!! glad it works for you though!! so I guess you will be passing out soon then? LOL
