Good Morning!

We are off to a bad start. Merkie woke up with the stomach virus. It's making another round here. A friend of mine at church told us yesterday that her son's entire AAU basketball team has it. Long story short, Merkie's Dad and my parents are out of town today, so I'm stuff home nursing the sick. If it was any day other than Monday that would not be so bad.

I'm not sure about that. I'm not sure if everyone made it out, right now they are searching with dogs through the homes for victims!!

Hello! That situation in Cal is just heart breaking. CNN said that they have started an arson investigation because they think the whole thing was intentionally started. How evil would someone have to be to intentional start something like that? I sure pray that no one was in those homes. The pictures are so aweful.

Merkie is still feeling pretty bad. She is asleep right now. She keeps bouncing back and forth between freezing to death and burning up. I keep trying to get her to drink liquids so the fever with not dehydrate her, but she says it makes her stomach more upset. She hasn't had anything to eat today. Her Dad's sister is going to bring her some homemade Chicken Noodle Soup by. Merkie loves her soup and it shouldn't be too rough on her tummy.

at least she is resting and that will help her recover quickly. But like you said she needs to get some fluids into her too!! poor thing, it's not fun to be sick like that!

Merkie, GET BETTER!! The boy across the street had it for 5 DAYS, off and on. One minute he'd be fine, think he could go back to school the next day, and bam, he'd be sick again!! My friend's daughter is home with it today and her son had it last week. YUCK

Gail, I think you should get the ressie from Gail and print off a copy to give Merkie as a gift for Christmas. I would put it in an envelope and stick it in the tree...not with the other gifts, and then after all the gifts are open and you are just sort of sitting there, say to her, "what is that in the tree?" She'll be all, "What? I don't see anything?" And you say, "That white thing. Like a piece of paper or something?" Then she'll find it and open it and see you have another trip booked!! We actually did the boys this way with park tickets. They were a little bit younger and couldn't grasp at first WHY we would have park tickets if we weren't going to Disney? LOL Then they got it!

Candy, those photos are just amazing. It's almost like a tornado, picking and choosing and not knowing which one will be left standing once it's through.

Kristin, I would love to see the video too!! We have never tried to do something like that. Very creative!!!
