Good morning everyone. It's actually 11:35pm here and you are all gone so I can say good morning...again...LOL
I spent the night trying to catch up on the communty board and the cruise board and...sheesh it was not ending, I have a DIS life!!!!

Erika what can I say? DW told me about the pigs and all I can think of is why are there reports Spam is getting more expensive and for some miracle a bunch of pigs.......I shouldn't even say this since I haven't looked at the link, I am just guessing it was half descently close to the Spam place
I have the day off and we are going to attempt to put up the decorations....sheesh

LOL, all the pigs were rounded up and sent safely to their destination. Funny I did think of you and wondered if they were heading down to the Hormel/Spam plant LOL!

So I've been gone for awhile. I gotta problem i need help with so if any opf you have any clue please let me know.

i finially talked DH into going cable modem. The kit arrived last night and the hook up is easy right until we try to get on the net. So I'm back on a landline for the time being.

I have figured out which is the USB cable and whic is the ethernet cabel. Directions say the ethernet cable is better. BUT I got blinking lights all over the place.

The PC indicator light on the modem is blinking AND there is a blinking light somewhere in the ehternet connector on my hard drive. The Data send/recieve lights on the modem kind of go on. But don't stay on.

We tried the USB cable last night and the disk that came with it but the disk didn't run the way it was suppossed

I just know its going to be something extremely stupid. Its 75.00 for the cable company to come do this. If I'm paying 75 bucks they're gonna come dill a hole where i want them to, even though they refused when i moved in 4 years ago cause 4 other rooms in the house have cable connections.

FYI

The we are spliiting the cable cord with the tv and tv works no problems.

PLEASE PLEASE HELP ME!!

DH spent hours on the damn thing last night going through the computer when it works perfectly. I don't want him doing that tonight.

We have been having some major issues with our computer!! Something got into our computer telling us we has a huge virus and to download some wierd thing!! We didn't download it, but the message kept popping up every few seconds!! And then we had other pop ups coming on, including some pretty inappropriate stuff!!! Anyway, Randy spent all day yesterday and today trying to fix the problem!! It looks like it as all gone...whew!!! Talk about scary!!!!

We didn't download it, but the message kept popping up every few seconds!! And then we had other pop ups coming on, including some pretty inappropriate stuff!!! Anyway, Randy spent all day yesterday and today trying to fix the problem!! It looks like it as all gone...whew!!! Talk about scary!!!!

OMG! It wasn't Mirar was it? That was what took over my laptop!! I had to dump everything and start from scratch!

That's not a virus it's spyware. You have spyware, buy this software, conveniently made by us and by the way, we are the ones who installed in in your registry....I hate them things. The biggest problem is most people do not know how to get rid of it. Look at Michelle's laptop. Over her it would cost about 40 dollars to get rid of it and she said Staples wanted something like a hundred dollars an hour??? What the????? I would have saved the pics and reloaded it too!!!!
Nancy's parents had one of them too. Everytime we'd go on holidays I'd spend a day tryingto clean the garbage and this one I finally got so it would only show one pop up window saying the spyware program could not be loaded and it was all working fine again, then they actually dumped the hard drive and reloaded it.

Christmas with the Kranks is great, but the book was better. I was reading it on Decembe 20, 2004 while laying in a hammock on Castaway Cay. <HUGE Sigh> I so wish I was there right now. It's only 15 outside right now. I can't imagine how cold it is for Erika, Denis and Nancy! BBrrrrrrrrrr.....
