That electric throw sounds nice... I could use one of those! I have to head out in the fog and cold tonight for a moms homeschool meeting... but it is without the boys so that is something, right? I think I will have to stop for some hot cocoa on the way...

Hope all is well with everyone out there! Sorry I havnt been around, been busy schooling with the boys! That and a little good news... we bought into DVC and it closed today! We are proud owners of 100 pts at BWV

Baby, it's COLD outside!

I am so thankful for this school cancelation! I hope to get a few things done around here today!!!

Our furnace upstairs is set to 68, and it's at 63, working hard to keep up!!! One of the ladies that works with Steve called this morning because her's is the same. Steve said they just can't keep up in this cold.

hmm no cancelation here because of the cold...it's -21 C (-6 F) here right now and it's not counting in the wind factor either!!!

I hope all our furnaces can keep up!! LOL

We are cancelled again! I cannot believe it, I have never seen 2 days in a row cancelled due to cold (or anything for that matter). When Steve left for work this morning it was -31 air temp, before the wind chill! They have Monday off too, so this is the same amount of time they get off for Spring Break, but they have no homework, cuz they did it all Wed thinking it was all due Thursday.

Kristin, I would like to know more about this night! Like how you set it up, what you charged, if you charged, etc. I think this might be a fun thinig to do as a fundraiser! Have to know more and think about it!

I am officially addicted to Facebook and Word Twist Ladder, although I am not very good at it! LOL I like facebook because I can get it on my phone and keep up with it all day!! that might be a bad thing too! oh well...

It's the weekend!!!!

It's a toasty -2 this morning, with a forecasted high of 30. I'll beleive it if I see it! We've taken to closing off rooms in the house that we don't use all that much.....the guest room and man cave which are over the garage....in efforts to maintain heat in the used parts of the house! I know my bathrom was REALLY cold this morning! We had shut the door to it too!

We are going to go out today. Colton and Steve need haircuts and then Colton wants a small desk for in his room, so we'll try a few places for that. Then I want to go to Olive Garden for lunch to get the Soup Salad and Breadsticks...with the new Chicken Gnocchi soup! I LOVE Gnocchi!! I could eat it until I was sick. I hope this new soup doesn't disappoint!

Morning all! Super busy weekend for me. Was gone until 11 last night, running Alexa to a concert at the Lions Club. That must be an intersting convetion weekend. Today we have to go get birthday cake and donuts for her slumber party, and shop for her present that I never bought. Tonight is the party. Tomorrow I have lunch with a friend, grocery shopping then working until the wee hours.
The good news is, right now it is 50 degrees warmer than it was when Steve left for work yesterday!!!! That's amazing that it can swing that much that quickly. It was -31 now it's 19.
