Wow, that does surprise me. That kind of gives me the heebie geebies. I mean, I watched the lady today, put on the gloves, clean Colton's ear, clean the gun. When you get into tattooing, it's not just a one shot deal. that's LOTS of tiny little shots. I would be apprehensive to get a tattoo!!

I had thought about Claires and I also thought about Piercing Pagoda at the mall, but when I called Walmart and they said they did, I just went there. It's 30 mins to and from the mall....just 10 to and from Walmart!

it's no big deal getting a tattoo!! I have one and never had any problems...as long as the equipment is sterilized it's all good!!!

The storms were not too bad. Rained a lot and high winds the boats were shut down and poor Bruce had to walk back from Hollywood Studios........But the Tornados were about two hours north of us...That is what the local news here said. WDW was safe it was not close enough to use. But Daytona and Seminola County got hit hard.....The sun came out last night and we ate on the BoardWalk.........

Just got back from AK and we are headed to the pool with cocktails!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Are your parlors monitored by the health dept? Ours are, but Erika is saying her's are not! That means you "could" go into a parlor that just doesn't follow the rules and you could get into a mess! I would rather go to a place that was required to follow the rules, and not take a chance that they felt like following the rules!

Kristin, glad to hear you are safe and sound....as is everyone else in The World! Where did you eat on the Boardwalk? We need one more place to eat, and we're not sure where to go.

It's been such a dank and dreary day! I can NOT get motivated to do anything!!! I"ve made the boys do stuff though! LOL I guess I "should" do my share!



I have BBQ Pork in the crockpot, some red potatoes I'll dice up and bake, and some strawberries cut up for Strawberry Shortcake for later!

Michele we ate at Spoodles and loved it actually ate there twice we liked it so much.....Great food and you can eat outside too if it is not hot out!!!!!!!

Kristin, we have had breakfast, a LONG time ago, at Spoodles, but never dinner. Maybe we should. We have talked about it, but didn't make the ADRs. Soon, Spoodles will be gone! It's being replaced. Cat Cora, the only woman to be named Iron Chef, is going to be opening a new restaurant in it's place.

this day is starting off like every other day this week....damp, dank, and dreary! Where is the SUN!!! I won't be cutting grass today. It's too wet still!! (phew!)

Not sure what we'll do today. Connor spent the night with a friend. Colton has a gift card to DQ that is burning a hole in his wallet, so we "could" go there for lunch!

I think I have watched this about 5 times now! Isn't she AMAZING!?! I can't wait to hear more from her. I wish we got the show here in the states, I bet it would have a good following. I tried a search to see if it was carried here, but can't find it! Just said channel iTV and that is not listed on our satellite listing. The only thing I see is BBC America. I'll have to check their schedule line up!

all I can say is WOW!!!!!!!
this lady has an awesome talent and I LOVE the way she shocked everyone with her beautiful singing voice!!! I hope she will go far in her life!!

Denis, did you get the floor done? Have you left those poor sheep alone now? LOL

My house is SO quiet! The boys went with thier friends to the family farm and Steve is at work. Yard work for me today. But I will do it at my pace and get done what I can. What I don't. Oh well!! I REALLY don't wanna do ANY of it and would much rather sun myself with a book and girly drink, but that's not going to happen today. I'll get sun, but the hardworking way!

I am working every morning this coming week. 8-12. The one girl is getting married today so she'll be on her honeymoon!! After I said I would work, it then dawned on me that it's with the babies.....2 year olds. UGH. It's not easy in there! There are a few that like to "stir the pot". It's going to be an interesting week!

Well, if I plan on accomplishing ANYTHING today, I better get my butt in gear and get out there!

Let's just say our flight home was "interesting." Not sure I am too anxious to fly anytime soon......

Just got the kids to bed since they got to bed after midnight last night.....
Then today we had five kids over here playing in the yard, while we cut the grass, etc......

We are all exhausted. Steve just finished working 13 days straight, I am tired from the yard work, and the boys are tired from hiking, shooting, creek walking, etc. Early night for us. Steve and I went to Mi Pueblito for dinner and then Walmart to do the shopping. The boys got home about 9ish.

thanks Nancy! I think he is excited. Today he met with his mentor one last time at lunch...that's why we went to Husson's Pizza! LOL This Weds night they'll have their rehersal and then Sunday is the big day!

I am going to head to bed! Have to get up early tomorrow! I am working every morning this week. 8-12.

I am here now! worked until Noon, then got gas and came home to figure out dinner and tidy up a bit. Then took Connor to track and Colton to marching band.
When we were leaving the track, a news crew showed up wanting to interview a parent. I let my friend do the honors. I look like crap this evening! LOL Anyway, the reason was, there was a rumor today, and I still don't know how much of it is true....a boy at the high school left a note saying that because this was the 10th anniversary of Columbine, he was going to go one bigger. "You've not seen nothing yet." He left the note and ran away last night. the police came to the house and found 2 loaded weapons in his room. They don't know how many he might have. Then the boys were saying that he's a Nazi, has a tattoo of the Swastika (sp) on his back, that he was under house arrest for carrying a 9mm to school previously. That the note said he would not kill anyone with blonde hair and blue eyes. So anyway, all the schools had marked and unmarked patrol cars at them today, the FBI was called in of course, and every parent was on pins and needles. I guess SO few kids showed up at the high school today that they just showed movies all day. It won't count as an instructional day since they won't meet the headcount required. Connor just now told me that there were 2 sharp shooters on top of the middle and high schools today too. HOW much of all of this is true, has yet to be determined. It's just crazy.
Now, I wait until 9pm when I have to get Colton from practice. I'd MUCH rather be in my jammies by then!!!!
