I am LOVIN' Spring Break!!

For those of you that missed Colton's post on FB, he has been given permission by his Dad to get his ear pierced. I am pretty sure that will be done today! He is excited about it!

It hasn't started to rain yet, but it will today.

The boys are wanting their friends to spend the night tonight. They are brothers. Good kids, but a bit wild/crazy/ornery. Should make for an interesting night! LOL

I am not Coltons friend, so I am not able to see it, but I'm glad he has gotten permission! Not a battle worth fighting over without a really good reason. Tell Colton I said congrats!

thanks Erika!!! Steve said he just wanted Colton to really THINK about it and not jump to do something he really didn't want. Colton is famous for making a quick decision and then regretting it later. I am glad he had time to mull it over.

Now I am just not so sure we will go today! Seems that Kozmo has the runs and Connor threw up! Where's my bleach bottle??

Hope Connor and Kozmo feel better.... I will post some more this afternoon. We are going to Hollywood Studios then coming back to beat the rain that is coming this afternoon!!

Kristin, have fun at the studios!! I hope you are able to do all that you want to! I have read that the crowds are INSANE and that some ride waits are up to 240 mins! YIKES! I won't wait that long for anything!

Everyone seems to be doing much better now! Connor has an ortho appt at 1030, I have an annual exam at 230, and Colton is killing me about getting his ear pierced, so we'll do that today too! Probably this evening, after dinner.

I better get my rear in gear!

we didn't get his ear pierced yesterday because Connor and Kozmo were sick and I didn't want to leave them. Besides, I donned a comfy ol' pair of sweatpants and wasn't going out! :O) Today, we have been to the orthodontist, Taco Bell, and checked on my friend's cats. Now I need to go to the bank and my Appt. I just called Walmart and they do ear piercings there, so I think we'll head over there this evening. Allen had suggested a Tattoo Parlor as they are regulated by the state. I think it's a great idea, but I am going to just take him to Walmart. It's quick, easy, cheap and no appt necessary. As long as Colton takes care of it, I don't forsee a problem.

What are we going to have for dinner???????

Wow, that does surprise me. That kind of gives me the heebie geebies. I mean, I watched the lady today, put on the gloves, clean Colton's ear, clean the gun. When you get into tattooing, it's not just a one shot deal. that's LOTS of tiny little shots. I would be apprehensive to get a tattoo!!

I had thought about Claires and I also thought about Piercing Pagoda at the mall, but when I called Walmart and they said they did, I just went there. It's 30 mins to and from the mall....just 10 to and from Walmart!

I am heading off to bed! Going to show Colton how to clean his ear. I have the feeling he'll be complaining about not being able sleep in the morning! Oh well....it doesn't last too long!

As Eeyore would say, "Looks like rain". it's dark and gloomy today. Going to get the boys to help with the inside house chores today, then tomorrow, if the weather breaks, we'll cut grass and lay the 50 bags of mulch we got last weekend....on sale!

The boys stayed up and watched Bedtime Stories last night, I went to bed! So no one is up but me...and Steve, he's off to work!

Better get the day started!

The storms were not too bad. Rained a lot and high winds the boats were shut down and poor Bruce had to walk back from Hollywood Studios........But the Tornados were about two hours north of us...That is what the local news here said. WDW was safe it was not close enough to use. But Daytona and Seminola County got hit hard.....The sun came out last night and we ate on the BoardWalk.........

Just got back from AK and we are headed to the pool with cocktails!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Kristin, glad to hear you are safe and sound....as is everyone else in The World! Where did you eat on the Boardwalk? We need one more place to eat, and we're not sure where to go.

It's been such a dank and dreary day! I can NOT get motivated to do anything!!! I"ve made the boys do stuff though! LOL I guess I "should" do my share!

I have BBQ Pork in the crockpot, some red potatoes I'll dice up and bake, and some strawberries cut up for Strawberry Shortcake for later!
