I don't blame you at all!!!
I got a phone call from my mom the night before last night. My stepfather, who has parkinson's disease, was hallucinating badly. He thought someone was trying to steal their car and he got a hold of a bb gun. He kept saying someone was in their car. My mom called the paramedics and they told her they couldn't come unless she got the gun away from him. Luckily she was able to get it away from him and they came and took him to the hospital. The doctor had to lower his medication.

Oh Candy! I'm so sorry to hear that! Hopefully that will help him a bit more???

Kristin, I am so sorry to hear about your friend. This week has been crazy!! Another friend of mine lost her FIL in a car wreck yesterday, now this, and all that we have gone through. UGH. I NEED a vacation!!!! LOL

We sold our aquarium tonight!! YAY!! Schon (Shawn) and Dennis came and picked it up! Now it's in THEIR house and not ours! LOL Then we all went to dinner at the Mexican place.

Won't be long and I"ll be heading to bed!!!

Michele I'm so very sorry to hear about your friend's FIL! how horrible!! they will be in my thoughts and prayers!!!!

looks like everyone needs a vacation now!!!

Nancy, that's great news from the agent. Have fun prepping the house!!

And wow to everyone else. It must be something in the air this week. Yesterday, one of the loan officers I work for who is also a good friend of mine, was told she has to have a hysterectomy within the month because her uterus and one ovary look like they are growing cancer. Also yesterday, her 19 year old son and his high school senior girlfriend, lost their baby at 16 weeks into the pregnancy. I know it was not the greatest for them to be pregnant, but I to lose the baby is awful. Her son was devastated.

I have so much to do this weekend, I can't even see straight. I will probably never get it all done. Alexa still has 4 shows this weekend. UGH!!! Have a good one!!

Erika, I am sorry for your friend and her son! What a horrible time this family is having!! I hope they find peace.

It's a sunny day and hopefully the grass will dry out and we can mow tomorrow afternoon. Today we need to paint where the aquarium was and figure out the new furniture lay out for the family room.

I'll be around....aside from that, I don't think we'll be into much today!!!

Kristin that house is so beautiful! It's not for us but then again a big city is not for us. I need green space...The only thing that scares me about this house is the windows...too many of them and you know them big city folk, they all have telescopes and look into each others apartments. I know it's the whole truth I saw if on Seinfeld LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

thank you Erika!!! we bought a few things like paint and a new faucet today and we are going to get started on fixing up a few things around here!!!

Sorry to hear about your friend, hope she gets it done in time!!!!!!!! how scary it must be for her!!!! and so very sad about her son's baby!!!!!

Hello all!!

We ended up at a new place for us, it's called 5 Guys Burgers. It was REALLY good!! The "small" burger is a 1/4 pounder! Then add on all the toppings, it was big, I didn't finish it all. The Fries were REALLY good. They had all kinds of newspaper and magazine articles with headlines of being the best burger, the best burger for the price and so on. Several years in a row!! We'll be back. Steve got a hot dog for us to try too and it was really good!

Anyway, we were going to go to eat and then a movie near the restaurant. In the meantime, Connor's friend Marshall, calls and asks for Connor to spend the night. Instead of seeing the show out there, we told Marshall we would come back and get him, then take them back to his house. When we got home I called his Mom to tell her what time we'd be picking Marshall up. I asked about his brother Mitchell and she said he was staying with another friend for the night, but we might see them at the show. I then told her that Marshall should stay with US, then her and her DH could go out and have a Date Night! She was so excited!! They need to go out....they are feeling the stresses of work, kids and an elderly mother. I hope they had a good night out, ALONE!

Once we got back here and I saw the condition of my house, I told Steve to just take the boys out and I'd stay back and get things back in place. I also made a Kroger run for a few snacks and veggies for tomorrow's kabobs on the grill! YUM-O!!!

Oh man, there was soooo much food, I'm still stuffed!!! 2 more shows tomorrow and it's all done. I will be so glad when it's done, this has been exhausting. Yet it's still a little sad that it's ending.

I've never heard of 5 Guys. Sounds tasty.
