We both work full time and we are up to 42 cruises over 23 years

Impressive. In our group of friends we are considered cruise nuts because we have been on 10 cruises in 45 years. So one about every four and a half years. But we never had more than four weeks vacation a year and usually had family obligations that ate up two to three weeks a year. And we had jobs where all holidays were regular work days....meaning no day off, but double time pay.
