Whatever happened to the “comfy costumes during tower events” idea? Does anyone know if I might have missed an explanation of why they didn’t continue with that this time?

I'm pretty sure Gameloft has given up on them. Years ago, they stopped incorporating the various holiday costumes into the related holiday months. Comfy costumes were a terrible idea when they introduced the dressing room thing. Now players have packed that oversized waste of space away.

I guess I was wrong. I'm not going to miss a lot aside from the cascading tappers. That actually works for me.

Also: three new plots of land. And a lot of other stuff going on...

Am I reading the patch notes right that the rest of the available land will be available and Everest? Wonder if that means they will be adding a new area / map or if this is the beginning of the end?

Real world news from me is that we have dates, airfare and a Fantasy Springs hotel package for our Tokyo Disney trip in October. I am sure there will be a very important event in this game the week we are there.

I'm playing just fine with the land we have. Heck, I've got three plots sitting empty at the moment. We honestly do not need any more land.

Enjoy your trip this fall. I haven't visited any of the Asian parks yet.

It's likely. They always do some major event right when I go away on vacation. This is not a time-change, cruise-friendly game IMHO.

iOS update is available. The Expedition Everest Zone is available. Then two additional plots of land are available. For those that do pay attention to the Zone Thrill Levels, the opening of Expedition Everest Zone will rebalance some things. I think all of my Zone Levels did drop one level.

Yeah, all my thrill levels dropped. Trying to decide if I care enough about the boosts to patch the holes. Will see. I have thousands of relics to upgrade buildings with, yet the one I want to upgrade (the Sword in the Stone) is still one relic short of being able to enchant to level 1.

I actually think that the changes to the thrill levels, particularly the upgrades of the buildings, makes a lot of sense to me. I mean - I also dropped levels, but at least I can get some credit for upgrading Mickey and Friend collection buildings in the initial zone (which you didn't before).

I also like that you don't need common tokens to upgrade buildings. I mean this will save me from waiting for the Fun Wheel to drop like 1200 balloon tokens before the Mickey common token is removed from the chests. I'm pretty happy about this.

Now, the reduction of magic from buildings that aren't upgraded - NOT happy about this. But I suppose, with the good comes the bad.

Here is my pre-Hercules 2.0 status:

Sword in the Stone - Mim Level 5, Brown Owl Level 9 (finally finished off Ector)
Mulan - Yao Level 6. Hopefully picks up some steam with Ector being done
Wreck it Ralph - KnowsMore Level 9 basically ready to go to Level 10 during a lull in the Hercules event.
Ice Age - Manny Level 6, Scrat Level 8, everyone else Level 9. Might not run these ones to level 10 until after Hercules is over and just max them out in the meantime.
Season Pass 91

Finished all the remaining Muppets and the angry Frozen Snowman last week.

I've read 9k on Reddit, but I don't know if that's accurate.

I had read 9k on Reddit, so I left Hera at 3. I’m a little over 6k in EC right now.

Underworld built and enchanted to 1, ready for 2. Got Hera doing Wait by the Underworld task. Season Pass level 106, all weeklies were done on Saturday. Two event tasks left (currency and 3 characters...currency will be done today).

Just kinda humming along..

Not surprising, but Hera will need to be at least Level 5. I need her to be at this level for an event quest.

Just sent Hera on a 12-hour task to confront the Underworld. Not sure how they're planning on dragging this nonsense out for another ten days.

Got Hera on the cusp of 5...1 flower and 4 hats needed (along with some EC). Got Hydra at 4 and gonna stop there unless I need more.

Both of their tokens drop pretty regularly. I've also got all three Hercules attractions enchanted to a level where they help with Hydra, Hera and Zeus tokens (Underworld at 2, Temple at 4 and Training Grounds at 4). Don't have to worry about the other Herc characters dropping anything since they're at 10 already.

I just need 1k more EC to get Hera to Level 5…I honestly don’t mind time walls. Rumor on Reddit is that Zeus is going to be 16k.
I definitely need the time to collect more EC after Hera level up.
