Still working on trowels and hats for Impractical Pig. Makes me pretty much not care anymore... possibly about the game overall.

I got lucky last night and collected all but one of Practical Pigs hats. Then used gems to buy the last one and sent him off on first task, so I will start from there once I get up when daylight comes.

I gave up trying to get the tokens the conventional way. I was really frustrated last night and just gemmed the rest. And wouldn't you know...after he was out on his first task, my overnight activities yielded 2 trowels and 1 hat. Really irritating...

But at least you can use them to level up the porker to Level 2, which you will need to continue the event. I have noticed that the drop rates really haven't gotten much better after welcoming him.

100%. That was the upside when I collected. Just pretty comical to me.

Third pig needs to be at 2 for the wolf battles. After that, first pig needs to be at 6 for a joint task.

At the first wolf battle...one hat away from Practical being at 2.

I'm fairly resigned to having to buy the final hat for Practical and then gemming whatever I don't get for the BBW.

I just gemmed the last trowel for PP. I already had 2 extra hats from house drops, so I just need 2 trowels for his level 2.

Hit the Wolf time wall. Tried to search reddit to see if there was any speculation on what the token situation will be with the Big Bad Wolf or even how much event currency is needed. Either it has not been posted or I just don't know how to navigate reddit to find the information.

After the joint Pig/Red quest is finished there is a 2 hour quest for Fifer and Fiddler.

A friend who plays on Android and I (on iOS) just noticed something.

She does not have Practical Pig yet, but the tokens are available in the Token Shop. I have him and they are also available. We were both caught off guard by this, but it might help some folks to get the pig or get him to 2. Worth a look.

Oh. I didn't catch that either. And they are "inexpensive" as compared to other tokens. Only 300 magic for the Trowel and 400 for the Ears Hat. However, I currently see a limit of 5 for each. The other thing is that they are "hidden". They are all the way to the right of all of the attraction enhancement tokens. So unless you happened to scroll all the way to the right, you will miss them.

And not long after those joint tasks, you have to get Practical to lvl 3 and Grandma’s house does indeed need to be enchanted up to 2 for Practical & Fifer to do their joint task. It’s an event task, not a side task.

Red is in Grandma’s house now trying for a trowel so 3 more hrs before I can enchant. Hope to get some more relics in my mystery chests before then.

I don't have Practical yet. After reading this, I checked and I had the tokens available in my cauldron shop.

I feel like these tokens were quietly added, as I've previously checked all my token options (characters, attractions, chests) for Practical several times.

I agree. I looked last night and they weren’t there.

I had collected 2 of each token to level PP to 3. So it only let me buy 3 of each token to get him to 5 to Level him to 3. I looked and after buying the 3 and leveling him they were no longer available to purchase.

This is all totally ridiculous. Thanks for the heads up on tokens being available in the shop. It never even occurred to me to look there.

As for Grandma’s House…..seriously?! I don’t recall them ever requiring this before. This whole event is one giant hot BBQ mess!!!

The tokens being available in the shop was a gamechanger for me. I was ready to give up on this event, and now I'm back on track. I also noticed that they have two Practical Pig token bundles available in the bundle shop. Five hats and two radiant chests for 40 gems, five trowels and one radiant chest for 20 gems.

Clearly this is reaction to them realizing they massively screwed up on the drop rate for Practical Pig.

Unfortunately, there is still a limit of 5 for those tokens. In my Windows game, I have *one* trowel. So while 6 is better than 1, still doesn't get me much closer.
