Five trowels, 3 hats. This is final character level slowness...not next to last character. Still got all week to get to the BBW time wall, but this should be moving faster.

I’m currently sitting at 5 and 4 and not regretting my decision to skip out on the Barnstormer one bit. It doesn’t seem to be helping you all too much. Thinking their money grab strategy may backfire on them just a teensy bit when pass sales start for this next season. My FOMO is definitely waning

I'm at 6 trowels and 0 hats. I already had barnstormer, but it has to be level 3 to be helpful, which I just got it to. We'll see if that helps any.

Also at 5 and 4. That's with barnstormer at L1. Not yet in gems range but I won't use the gems on this character.

What I have been doing is waiting until there is about 2 hours (or less) with the tasks for the trowel or the Practical Pig Ears Hat. Yes, it is costing me time skips, but I currently have a bit over 2,000 of them. Typically it is costing around 11 or so time skips each time. But it has helped me get to where I am at 12/16 Trowel and 6/12 Ear Hats. I am within gem range. I would need to spend 260 gems right now to welcome the little swine.

4 Trowels and 2 ears . I have over amount of EC at least. Haven’t used any time skips, but I may as we get closer to Wolfie.

I have been doing the skips in the evening. I refuse to get up during the night to do this game. I did get one more token since I originally posted this am, so I am now at an even 5 and 5. Will skip more frequently if it looks like my option comes down to either skips or gems

Just got another hat...sitting at 6 and 4. Most excruciating penultimate character...

Got Barnstormer at 4, Animation Academy at 4, Three Little Pigs House at 1 (not helping), Grandmother's House at 1 (not helping), Red Hood at 6, Fifer at 6, Fiddler at 5...I don't know why we need any character at 8 to be a helper.

If attractions need to be enchanted to help with the event, then make the relics available. Not just 20 in the shop and then random chests. I have 33 relics and, if I get to 50, I can get one of these attractions to 2. But chances of that happening are slim.

This is all very interesting. I'm at 5 and 5. I don't have Barnstormer or Animation Academy. I have both of the attractions from this event at 1. I don't have Red. Fifer is at 7 (and is helping,, but crazy high to be at 7 to help get this character). Fiddler at 4. And again, at 5 and 5. (And I have 36 relics, so I assume that I'll be close to 50 by the time that the BBW opens.)

But, I'm also assuming that he will need to get this pig to 2 or 3 to get BBW. That means that the 5 days left before BBW opens will need to drop a crap load of tokens.

And - with this mega event, I think that we have less time to get the final character than we have with the mini events (like Roger, who I did get).

I will say it again - the game just got noticably harder.

We all got Roger with a week's time. With this new update, I've been stuck at 2 ear hats in that same week-long time-frame. Contact customer service and they'll let you know that the game is working as it's meant to.

I contacted them a couple of years ago when I was having issues and they said my game was working fine. It wasn't. (Eventually someone helped me, but in this case I think it IS working how they meant it to - they want you to just buy all the characters).

Actually those have been there for some time. I noticed them before. 15 gems for one attraction token is pretty steep considering the number of those tokens you need to enhance the attractions. So again these are indirect ways that they are trying to get people to spend $.

Currently sitting at 14 Trowels and 6 Hats. The other two pigs are at 6 and 4 and Red at 6. Yesterday and last night was a good gathering day for me. The other Pigs and Red are ready to level again if needed.

I’m currently sitting at 7 trowels and 9 hats. Fifer and Red are at 6, Fiddler is at 5. Will be leveling up Fiddler if somehow I get the token drops to do it. That’s not terribly likely as I’m running most of those same characters on trophy tasks currently. Otherwise, I’m saving all of the EC I can at this point for the stupid Practical Pig. Not spending any gems on relics, I saw them in the shop before as well and I am just not doing it. Such a gem grab in this event

I just got my last two tokens to level Grandma house to Level 2.

Reddit is reporting there is a visual bug in the level needed for Fiddler and Fifer. Fiddler doesn't need to be 7, only Fifer apparently.

I can't confirm or anything, so take that with a grain of salt.

Hello old friends! I was becoming frustrated with this game a year ago and took a break. I’ve just come back and see that nothing has changed. Judging by this thread and the FB posts it’s gotten worse. Way to go Gameloft

Consider it Wiihoo verified. Just quick leveled up Fifer to 7 and was immediately able to send him out for Trowels. Fiddler is still at 5. Now work it, pig….work it
