Disney Magic Express

Hi,
Quick question. Have the rules for using Magic Express changed since last spring? I will be going in three weeks and I don't think we received that booklet thing yet. We have a booklet with vouchers and a complete itinerary list, but I don't think it's the same thing. I'm worried. We have proof that we were signed up for Magic Express but we never got the booklet. At least I don't think we did.

What should we do ? Is it unusual to receive something like this only weeks before our trip?

Everything is the same as when you were on ME last. As for your booklet...the one you have does it list the air carrier and the flight schedule? If it does, then that is the booklet that you need to get on ME. If not, and if you haven't gotten the luggage tags yet, then call the ME number ASAP and let them know that you are leaving in 3 weeks and they should be able to send you another ME docs. That happened to us and they were able to send them to us. Good luck.

The only significant changes have been:
1. They send just one yellow baggage tag (it's used for Disney bound baggage only) per person; more are available on request if time permits.
2. Everyone arriving after 10 PM must fetch all of their bags from the carousels.
3. Magical Express packets are not routinely sent to non-US guests.

If you don't get the new correct baggage tags in time, you may draw one line through the old or incorrect information and write in the correct information but don't write through the bar code. Bring the booklet that went with the yellow tags you did use.

I went to WDW last month and received my booklet 2 weeks (to the day) before departure.

I'm arriving April 28 and got my DME book & tags on April 3.

DME packets seem to be sent out a bit later than they used to be....between 2 and 3 weeks prior to travel.
