Then it was off to IASW!!!

We all had a great time enjoying our little tour around the world! Especially Alexis!
Then it was off to HM! Ryan has decided that he doesnt like HM! Its too scary! So, MIL and FIL took DS8 and DD with SIL, BIL and Alexis and DH and I decided to relax and let Ryan goof around! I honestly regret not going and just leaving Ryan with DH but we had a good time together!

After HM it was time for us to check-in at Crystal Palace for our pre-MVMCP dinner!
Of course, it was quite crowded and we waited probably 30 minutes!
I bet you can guess what happened!!!
Yes, BIL complained! This time worse then before! He also sulked and huffed and puffed! Again, worse then before! UGH! He really needed to get over himself!
We enjoyed our dinner and visits with Pooh and his friends!

I seem to be missing pictures! Sorry!
After dinner it was time to head to get our wristbands for MVMCP! They wanted everyone attending the party to go through a turnstile with their party ticket. I dont remember having to do this in the past! They had turnstiles available by Stitches Great Escape so we headed that way! But when we got over there the lines were insanely long! It would have been at least a 30 minute wait and because I didnt want to hear BIL complain, and the fact that I really didnt feel like waiting, I made the decision that we should head to the front of the park to go through the turnstiles there!
I figured that there are a lot more turnstiles there, I think there were 4 or 5 by Stitch, and a lot of people were already in the park.
Little did I know that FIL was going to throw a little fit for himself over having to the front of the park! I believe he asked DH How does she know the line at the front is going to be shorter? DH, being slightly annoyed by the question himself, gave him exactly the right answer! Dad, has she steered us wrong yet?! Just go with it! She knows what shes doing!
So, with a huff and a puff and a childish sulk we were off to the front of the park!
In FILs defense, by this point in the week his back was really, really bothering him! I could see him being a little cranky from it! But, I will not make excuses for him when there is plenty he could have done to make it better. MIL packed his pain meds, plenty of motrin, a brace, thermacare heat wraps, a heating pad and aspercreme. He wouldnt use any of it! He wouldnt do anything to help himself! There is not excue for being stubborn!!!
Anyway, when we got to the front of the park guess what we discovered?!
I was right!! Not to toot my own horn or anything
In fact, a very nice CM all decked out in his holiday finery told us that we didnt need to exit and re-enter. He took our tickets waited until a few more guests entered the park and then scanned our tickets and turned the turnstile by hand for us!
Being officially in the park for MVMCP we got our wristbands and headed for the emporium! Yes, we went shopping!!
Why would we waist valuable party time shopping you ask!? Well, it seems FIL was freezing to death and complaining to MIL! He was driving her completely insane! So we went in search of a sweatshirt for him while he found a bench to sit on!
There were 2 problems with this endeavor! 1st, MIL wasnt sure FIL would actually wear a sweatshirt even if she bought it! He had told her that he had plenty of sweatshirts at home and even 1 back in the room, he just didnt think it was going to be that cold! 2nd, all the mens sweatshirts that we thought FIL would even think of wearing were either a large or xxl. Not an xl like we needed! MIL decided to just bite the bullet and buy an xxl!
I bet you all can guess what happened after MIL purchased the sweatshirt!!!
Yup, FIL refused to wear it! MIL was fuming mad!!! I dont blame her!
Luckily (at least for me) the trip the emporium wasnt a complete waste because while we were in there the party officially started and I was able to get the kiddos MVMCP sweatshirts and the party exclusive vinylmation!!
After our shopping trip we headed to get a spot for the parade!!
At this point it was about 7:30ish! BIL wasnt keen on the idea of waiting 45 minutes for parade!! He let us know it too! More complaining, more sulking, more huffing, more puff! FIL was ok waiting because he found a bench to sit on, but he was still cold! MIL was completely fed up and I could see it in her face! I believe it was then I posted something on FB about it being hard to be in the Christmas spirit when you were being annoyed by people!
Our spot was right at the base of Main Street facing the train station and Santa was right behind us! DH and I decided to take the opportunity to get online to see Santa. The line was long, but at least MIL had our spot for the parade and we wouldnt have to listen to BIL!
They had the line for Santa broken down into sections because Santa would be leaving to get on his parade float. The CM were we got online was fabulous at monitoring the line to judge if we would get into see Santa before he left. She told us she was pretty sure wed get in but wed probably be the last family before he left!
We waited and waited and she finally let us into the main section of the line when she knew for sure wed make it! You should have seen the line behind us of people who were going to wait until he came back from the parade!
Santa was fabulous!! He spent time talking with us and asking the kids if they had been good and what they wanted!

Then it was back to our spot with about 10 minutes to spare before the parade started!!
We really, really enjoyed the parade!! However, about 2 or 3 minutes after parade started a man with 2 kids came over and tried to sneak his kids in front of Ryans stroller! Ummm, no! To make it worse his kid had a balloon that kept bopping Ryan in the head! GRRRRRRRRR!
After about 2 minutes of giving the man dirty looks he finally moved his kids back and took the balloon!!

When the parade was over DH and I decided we would head up Main Street a little to get a spot for the fireworks!!!
