DISNEY MAGIC Dic 11, 2016

I went on the same date on a Magic cruise on time so I can help you with whatever I can, but you'll have to be more specific on what kinds of tips and suggestions you are looking for. After you tell me that then I can help you.

That date passed already unless you mean Nov. 11, 2017 or possibly Dec. 11, 2016???

I did the Magic on October 7th and had a great time. The Magic is my favorite ship.

Hello it is our first time on the Magic and first time going for 7 days. We have a 6 yr old and a 2 yr old.
I am looking for advice on things I shouldn't miss. Thank you

Ah, OK.

"Tips" on ship - do you mean "tips" as in cash to give for good service, or "tips" and in suggestions about the ship?

Breakfast & lunch options are pretty much the same - Cabanas (buffet) or one of the main dining rooms (Cariocas has a buffet, and Lumiere's is a sit down menu). We prefer the buffet - quicker in and out to enjoy other things. Some people prefer the sit down table service. Depends on what you want.

Must dos - (IMO only, of course) all the production shows. A mixology class if you're interested in such things. Pirate night show & fireworks. Be sure to check the Navigator each night for the next day's activities. Also allow some "just sit and watch the sea go by" time (deck 4 is good for this).

A list of thin gs I recommend you don't miss out on: theatre shows, cabins, sit-down dining, and my absolute one tip always check your personal navigator you will receive each night. The navigator has events important port information weather and where the events are. Highlight events that you want to go to so you won't miss them. One last thing, I recommend bringing a watch or something that keeps track of time that is easily portable so you won't miss anything. I hope you have a wonderful cruise!

For St. Thomas do Megans Bay with the kids and do it on your own. There are open air taxis right where the ships docks. And there are plenty to get back. Reason on your own is you are not tied to the ships excursion times and if it's only so-so weather you can skip it or go later in the day fi the sun comes out, stops raining etc. With the ship excursion you'll be locked into paying unless they cancel the excursion (and it's a lot more for an entire family). The taxi rates will either be posted or the ships port consultant can tell you what the expected cost will be (I can't remember if rates are posted at port or not).

Also be sure to download the navigator app before you leave (do it now to use the countdown clock!) and from within the app you can save activities listed in the navigator and get reminders. No wifi plan is needed for the app. You can also text message others with it.
