We stay on deck 5 all the time, and my favorite stateroom on the ship is right about Animators (5650). We have never, ever heard any noise from the restaurant back there. We have been in the secret porthole rooms which are deck 5 forward, and there is no noise from below there either. In 31 Disney cruises, we have stayed in lots of different areas, and deck 5 is my favorite...so nice and convenient!

We stayed in a category 6 and cateogory 11 on deck 5 on our last two cruises and will do the same on our June 7th sailing. My kids love it and we find it very convenient and very quiet. On the next cruise that we're booking, we'll stay in the exact same spot.

We were in 5130 and each night when I was trying to sleep I would hear loud music, not dance music but Disney type music. Finally I figured it out after we saw Treasure planet it was the theme music played in the movie, we were down the hall from the theature and the late show is what I was hearing. Once I had figured it out it did not bother me anymore (kinda thought I was going nutso hearing music in my head ) It was not a constant noise just when the music would get loud in parts of the movie.
Isn't that funny, we were in 5126 on our last cruise and didn't hear the theater noise at all. On our June sailing we will be in 5130, so I hpoe our streak holds out.

We were on Deck 5, in the first room past the aft elevators, and if we ever get to cruise DCL again, would try for the same room. The convenience could not be beat, and it was soooo quiet.
