Home after a "recovery" week in Ormond Beach - really beach weather - mostly 80's. Can't believe it's over. What a fun, crazy, week a Disney cruise is. It was a great first time family cruise - the kids loved it - though a bit of disappointment with no Tinkerbell until the end, and, of course, Spiderman wasn't there . The grand-kids didn't quite "get" that the cruise was their present (though the adults "got it"). After a few simple gifts under the tree yesterday, all is good . Now to get ready for the next cruise (trans-Pacific in April - and off to explore New Zealand by camper before we cruise.

Forgot to say thanks for all the tips I found on this board. We didn't do any of the FE stuff, etc., but a lot of tips (and scanned Navigators) were great in helping us have some idea of what the week would look like. Happy travels

Mike - I thought they were great - we loved all of our gifts!

I think I saw you a few times: were you dancing one Bingo game when you were close? Last Bingo + I believe I saw you in your uniform getting a family pic taken? Sharp.

Did anyone book another trip while on board? We booked the Fantasy . . .

I am glad you liked your stockings. We hoped everyone would like them.

We have to wait and see when Uncle Sam will let me cruise again for fun but we will definately be back for our 4th cruise.

Sorry I've been absent, guys...I've been sort of blue since we got off the boat (was that really only a week and a half ago? Feels like YEARS!) Anyone else have a hard time handling the happy cruisers still looking forward to their cruise, or is that just me?

We loved our stockings, and they'll now be a part of our permenant holiday display each year. Very cute, and a great memory, too! I also have special plans to use them to surprise our girls if/when we cruise DCL again.

BTW, I forgot to put our stateroom on our FE gifts, but they were the white glitterbomb star ornaments (and random kid stuff). They were supposed to have a tag that read, "When you wish upon a star..." but I ran out of time. Oh, well! Maybe next time.

Speaking of next time...we didn't book on the ship, mainly because DH wasn't sure he wanted to cruise again until AFTER we left the boat, but we do plan to sail again in 2013. Either December 17 on the Fantasy OR if DCL goes to Europe in 2013, we'll be doing the westbound TA.

We had such a great time getting to know you all. I really hope I get to cruise with you again!

Hello! It was great getting to know some of you before and during the cruise, even though I had a hard time speaking up and properly introducing myself during the meet up. We had such a fantastic time, and I have been in post-vacation depression ever since. Not to mention I got more "landsick" after getting off the cruise than I was ever seasick on it! Didn't even know that was possible.

Yes, we booked our second cruise onboard! We are hoping for mid-June 2013 to Alaska. Impatiently waiting for the schedule/prices to come out.

We also became DVC Aulani members on board (huge shock for me, didn't know DH was already researching it before we went, I thought we were just there for the raffle! ) So we are also planning a Hawai'i vacation for next November to "tide" us over till our next cruise! The planning of our next two vacations has helped relieve some of the stress of living in the real world again.

Congrats on the DVC... we love ours, but we are huge fans of the Rat..

we miss the cruise but i will be underneath the Disney ships again before too long. We are hoping to book another again for this up coming summer.

What should i do for the next FE gift?

Tote bags
T-shirts
Stockings (if another holiday cruise)
Pot holders (we did this for our second cruise)

Any of these will be screen printed with our version of the DCL logo (the one we screened on this years stockings) we call it the Pirate Cruise Line Logo.

Hello everyone! Thank you for all the FE gifts, we loved them all! We had a wonderful first cruise and already wanting to book another! We just got home Saturday (Christmas Eve) after spending a week in WDW! We also both came home sick and are still trying to recover.

Congrats on DVC!!! We are also members with our home resort being the Grand Californian in Disneyland, since we live in AZ. We are hoping to get to Aluani very soon!

It was great meeting everyone and hopefully we will sail with some of you again!

I just wanted to say thanks to all for the great gifts in the FE. I am using my bookmarks and mousepad right now! I too was sicker than a dog when we finally got home from driving back. That combined with Christmas and a hockey tournament has kept me off the boards. We bought DVC too (sorry Renee, I had already listed a co-worker as my referral person). Had a great time and I am really glad to have met all of you!

All the best in 2012 and our Mayan tour guide Jesus told us all at Tuluum that the world will not end- so many happy Disney memories are ahead!

Your welcome for the tote bag They were alot of fun to make. Some were Christmas design and some not. Thanks everyone for the great FE gufts. We got home to find out our rental house wasn't ready and we had to scramble to find a place to move. Once again, God provided . We found a great little house to rent and moved all day on Christmas and the day after. We booked two cruises onboard, one on the Fantasy for Nov 2012 and one on the Dream for Feb 2013. I wish everyone a very happy new year!
