Disney Magic Cruise - March 14, 2014

I'm "over the moon" excited to have this cruise booked! This will be my 12th cruise but FIRST time with Disney! I'm sure we are in for a treat! My 6 year old son and my Mom will be joining me on this spring break adventure!

I'm hoping to find other cruisers that are interested in the Fish Extender Exchange.

We are very excited to be going on this cruise! We had to move from a previous cruise in October. This works out, its our Spring Break! Second cruise (Disney) for the family. I hope others join in. The original poster may want to tell the admin for the links on the main page to add our link to this cruise meet up. I looked and there was no link yet. Maybe that's why there are not many chatting yet?

CamMad, I see that you're from Edmond. I lived there from 1993 until 2000. Small world! Do you have interest in the fish extender exchange?

Just about 2 months to go. I could use some warm vacation weather right about now!

I found some info on Fish Extenders that a fellow DISer put together. I thought it might help us out.

It sounds like we should share our cabin numbers, who will be travelling with us along with genders/ages, our favorite Disney characters, hobbies and if there are any allergies or special things to note.

If we don't want to post it publicly here you can private message me along with your email address. I'll compile all of the info together into a spreadsheet to email to whoever wants to participate.

Glad to see this post. I had posted a thread last night wondering if anyone on here was going on this cruise. Thought about possibly doing the fish extender but not completely sure yet. Seems like a lot of work

I think the secret to the fish extender is just doing what your comfortable with cost, size, time wise. This will be different for everyone. Just do what is workable for you and don't do anything that won't = fun.

I love giving little gifts and plan to use the fish extender pockets to spoil my mom and little boy a bit more during our vacation. I plan to hang it in our room during our park days before and after the cruise and sneak little goodies in for them. I'm hoping to stay tiny in size. We pin trade so that is a good option for my little boy. One fun idea I have for my mom is a Pick-a-Pearl Cinderella Carriage necklace / charm along with a gift card that she can use to purchase her pearl in Epcot. Won't that be fun!!?!

I have some ideas for those of us doing the exchange on the ship, too but don't want to ruin any surprises.

I hope you decide to join. Like I said just do what fits into your comfort zone... It is your vacation and you have to keep it fun!

I'm also thinking about door decorations but haven't planned anything yet.

Email me at scrpbookr@yahoo.com with your families information. Your cabin, names, genders, ages, favorite characters, hobbies, any allergies or other relative info.

sdyoung has also signed up for the fish exchange. I'll put our info into the spreadsheet and send it to each of us to use.

As others sign up I can update and re-email. I'm not usually too hesitant about sharing a lot of info on the internet but something about giving our cabin numbers and our kids info in a public forum bothers me just a little. I think we can accomplish the sharing of fish extender info through email if that is okay with all.

I also sent the moderator a private message letting him know we're trying to get our group linked up. Hopefully that does the trick.
