My sister and I travel with our Mom who is in a wheelchair and requires a hospital bed. On cruises with Royal Caribbean and NCL, they have always happily removed one of the twin beds in the room to accommodate the hospital bed. This is our first time on DCL and we know they do not use twin beds. We and have been waiting for response from Disney Special Services as to whether they can remove the bed or the sofa bed in the sitting area. We have just been informed that they will allow the hospital bed, but cannot remove the queen bed or sofabed and that the hospital bed placement may restrict/limit/preclude access to the verandah. From the few pictures and videos I have found of 6654 (and 6154) on Magic or Wonder it appears that there is plenty of room in the sitting area for the hospital bed (size of twin bed). Does anyone have any experience with a hospital bed in 6654 or 6154 or any good pictures of the sofabed sitting area? We need to cancel by Saturday. We were so excited to find a HA room at the last minute for a November cruise.
