Where in Canada? We are just north west of Toronto!

Hi all!!! So it's been a while since I've checked the thread, has anyone started setting up a FE group yet? We are getting excited for a Christmas Cruise!!! Our DS will have his BDay on the cruise (Pirate Party night I believe)

There is plenty of time, and I will keep updating here. If you are interested in a local candy exchange, just post! It's a lot of fun trying the different treats! I will keep the number of participants between 6 & 11 in each group so no one gets a sugar overload! We use the Fish Extenders to distribute our treats. We deliver once to each cabin. Generally people give enough for the cabin to share.

Hi Bobbiwoz. The Candy Exchange sounds super fun, but DW and DS (2 out of 3 of our group) have gluten allergies. So if you are making notes about allergies, that would be great. If not, I think we will pass, its really hard for DS to get treats, then be told he can't enjoy them. I hope that's not asking to much.

Thanks,
Dan

Hi, yes, I have always asked if there are any allergies when I begin to collect cabin numbers and other specifics from participants. As of now, all I have is the list of interested parties in most cases. I understand your reluctance. I have contacted the manufacturer of "my local candy" in the past and asked about specific allergies, namely dairy is one that I remember.

If I were to have someone participate with an allergy in my group, and there was a problem with what I had planned, I would contact the contact person in the exchange and ask for specific products that were good. So, in that sense, the receiver would not be receiving my local product, but something safe. That is what I would do.

Bobbi:)

Ok, so is it just me, or is there no PM option here.

I am just curious, am I the only one on here who booked this cruise specifically for the Prem"ear" of the new Star Wars movie on the last night?
Ok, someone tell me this is true!!! Will they be premiering SW on the cruise for us?
