When DH and I had our first AP in May of 2000, I believe we used to get these magazines as a perk of being an AP holder. We just renewed our APs (expired May 2004) and believe we only recieved one issue and only remember receiving one Mickey Monitor from this particular AP.
DH was in the bookstore the other day and saw the new Disney magazine and it had the best of Disney (best restaurants, best hotels, best transportation) and he was very interested in purchasing for our upcoming trip.
I told him first that I would check on this - does anyone know if we are, in fact, supposed to recieve this magazine subscription? Thanks for the info.

The Mickey Monitor is a perk of AP's. The Disney Magazine was a perk of the Disney Club, which is now gone. They offered discounted subscriptions to Disney Club members after the club was eliminated. I bought a subscription and got the magazine you described this week.

Thanks so much - guess we'll have to fork over the $$$ but it seems it may be worth it:)

We got a free issue of the disney magazine and an offer for 2 years for $10 (it's usually $20). I'm pretty sure it said we got it because we had AP's. We got our AP's in November and I think we got the offer in February. Don't know if it applies to anyone with an AP or if we somehow got on a special "list".
