Disney looking at Vivendi assets

Found this on the net. A little surprising considering the current stock price and problems in the company but interesting nonethless. Personally, I don't think they should go after the Universal theme parks. They really don't reflect the Disney image!

Looks like they may be grasping at straws to fix the stock price. What do others think????

Sorry, I'm not buying it. Disney has no interest in those assets at this time, but is commenting to drive up the bidding price so nobody else gets them cheap. Same thing recently happened when Burger King was on the blocks and Tricon Global Restaurants (KFC, Pizza Hut, and Taco Bell) said they were interested. It was just to drive up the price.

With Disney's current problem with Stock Price and Debt, they are not buying anything.
