Disney Lingo & Acronyms - A Rosetta Stone and Reference Guide

So i am relatively new here and certainly not a Disney "expert" by any means, and i was getting frustrated not knowing all of the Disney Lingo and acronyms. It really is its own language. I work in Government and i thought we had it bad with acronyms but Disney folks take the Cake!

So i started going through the Disney Threads cataloging and researching the acronyms so beginners like me can have a reference guide. Most of these are related to WDW (Walt Disney World) but if anyone sees any mistakes or any that i missed please post and i will add/correct them. I hope to do the same for Universal Studios.

You will also see ExE (or sometimes, just EE) for Expedition Everest.

You can add TT, GMR, ETWB, and IASW, just off the top of my head. (Let it be an exercise for the reader!)

Sometimes CoP is used for "Carousel of Policy", a humorous reference to the company's inability to be consistent about articulating and applying various rules.

Also, minor update, is that it's *Advance* Dining Reservation. While they may indeed be *advanced*, depending on what sort of technology we use, they are most importantly *advance*, as it's critical to have them ahead of time.

As @Number Six posted, a list of Common Abbreviations already exists. You can find it as a sticky in the Welcome to the Dis forum. Although I'm not sure how frequently it's updated.
