Disney Legos???

I was wondering if the Lego Store in Downtown Disney sells any special Disney sets that are only available there? Like the castle, etc. Trying to get something unique for my son's birthday. Thank you!

No, there are no special Disney lego sets. I've never seen them there, nor have I ever heard that they produced any. What you get is pretty much their entire line in one location, including many that you won't run across in your run of the mill Toys R Us or Walmart. So if they are Lego fans, you should have no trouble finding something great for a gift.

There's nothing there that you won't find in a regular Lego store or the Lego website.

Except, (if they are still offering it) you can get a custom engraved Lego brick.

There is a Cinderella castle lego set but they are found everywhere. Wal Mart, Target...

You can get Disney sets of Kinex. My DS got the Dumbo ride Kinex for Christmas. There is also a Space Mountain set.

As others have said, there's nothing special. And if you fly, there's added fun of getting whatever you bought home lol. I suppose the tax difference is nice if you live in a higher tax area than FL. Other than that it's nothing but a madhouse with all the same sets at all the same prices.

Ditto. Be forewarned, though, all the Disney Princess Lego sets are done similarly to Lego Friends sets...in other words, they're marketed to girls. The minifigures look like Lego Friends dolls, not traditional Lego minifigures.

There is also Rapunzel's tower, a couple of Ariel sets, a Merida set, a Jasmine set, and a Frozen set. They just came out with a bunch of new ones.

nanoblock has some character sets you can get on amazon, but the pieces are so small its hard even as an adult to put them together. (most pieces are only about half a cm)

I have the Neuschwanstein Castle on my desk 550 bricks. Took about 2 hours to make.
