Disney land in November

The wife and I are thinking about visiting Disney Land during the first two weeks of November. Any suggestions on where to stay off property? Also, I know Disney world has food and wine in November does Disney Land have anything like that?

Early November is offseason which has pros and cons. Make sure you understand them before locking in dates:

I have two November stays booked at the Motel6 Maingate in November. (First week and Thanksgiving) I may hotel hop to DL Hotel during the first week since we're going to the parks before our cruise and logistically, it may work better on our last day if we stay close to the park. Let us know what you decide!

We're going mid nov (15-16) and are hoping the shorter hours are offset by shorter lines. Everything should be all set up for Christmas-definite bonus! Friday DL is usually open later, so that'll help some, but it'll have lots of locals checking out the Christmas decor. We'll live. Trying to talk dh into going back the Sat and Sun after T-giving. He's not on board w/ that plan, yet .

We're trying the Del Sol as it's close, offers basic cont. bfast (the fam just needs cereal and coffee) and was the right price (cc points). Never tried the Harbor hotels, but we're stay until close types, so the hotel is just for sleep, shower and bfast.
