Disney Kit - what do you want to see?

Hey everyone! I LOVE Disney and I frequent the DIS boards most often for bridal stuff (DCL CC wedding May 2, 2009!) but I want to be more involved here!

I'm also a designer at Oscraps. I want to make my next kit Disney-ish. And another one after that. :-) I'm going to do a pirate/princess kit (1 kit) and then the other will be more pixie dust, black red yellow white colors.

So what do you guys want to see? Remember - I can't do anything Mickey Mouse or Disney Princesses because it's illegal. So I'm certainly doing skull and crossbones, parrot, treasure, torn fabrics, tiaras, glitters, magic wand, silk fabric, etc.

Suggestions? What do YOU want to see as loyal Disney fans? :wizard:

I'd like to see resorts themed stuff - which it seems like you could easily do without infringing -

I'd like to see some items that aren't quite so "cute". Something that those without children or have older children could use too.

I'd like some Epcot World Showcase mini-kits with paper and elements that go with each country!

I love that Epcot World Showcase mini-kit idea. You could take that idea to the other parks and do mini kits for each land.

I was just browsing your store (I have some of your freebies!), and you have a cool kit that's perfect for Indiana Jones pages. If I hadn't already scrapped that, I'd definitely pick that up!

Yes!! Scrapping for two adults, I find I don't use a lot of Disney themed kits because a lot of it is too cute, crazy primary colors - sophisticated Disney stuff would be awesome!

World Showcase stuff is a good idea too...even if you troll for world travel / international themes - it's hard to find the right stuff.

It's probably just me, but I would leave off the alphabet portion of the kit. I hate using them and there are already a LOT of Disney (cutesy and not) themed alphabets out there.

Thanks for your input! I don't have kids (yet) so I look for the less-cutsie scrapbooking kits too. I don't know if you don't love primary colors or this is too bright (I think it's just right) but I am uploading this to my store right now:

I'll link you up when it's there. I always include an alphabet in my kit because...well, it's a complete kit and most people want the alpha. ;)

I will see what I can do about a World Showcase type of kit since more than one of you requested it. My next kit's a pirate/princess not-to-cutsie kit that can be used for kids and adults and then I'll move on to the World Showcase.

Keep those ideas coming!

That's a step in the right direction... I knew I'd be alone on the Alpha thing :) I'm also hampered by the fact that I prefer photo-realistic and natural fabric looking embellishments!

Something I was thinking today: There's a whole line of Disney Paints (http://disney.go.com/disneyhome/disneypaints.html) which have some very nice, adult friendly colors. I would love to see a Disney kit for adults using the deeper and lighter shades - even if it contained your standard ribbons and mickey and princess crown cut-outs - which I WOULD use in this case. Nearly all Disney kits contain stuff in bright and / or primary colors.

In case you're interested, I uploaded a couple of my pages to snapfish - the Donald Duck page actually does use colors from the Disney Paint samples: http://www2.snapfish.com/viewshared...67/l=414267549/g=135781627/otsc=SYE/otsi=****

I'd love to see more World Showcase items, some Hawiian themed items for pictures of Ohana and Kona, and some ride names if that's not an infrigment.
