On 11/23/04 Wishes was supposed to be @ 9PM - Because Disney extended the MK hours till Midnight - they changed Wishes to 10PM - I had made a 8PM PS @ Ohana months ago based on a 9PM Wishes start!

Darn... :( :(

I think(if I can even get it)that 9PM is too late for us to eat.

My Choices are -
1. Keep PS and watch from the beach...
(What time will EWP be?)
2. Cancel and do Medival Times...
(I am leaning towards this so I can "punish" Disney for messing with my plan!LOL)

Any other thoughts or suggestions?

Thanks!

Honestly, the view from 'Ohanas is not that great - NOTHING like standing on Main Street. I would dine at 8pm, when done, hop onto the monorail, go back to MK, and watch it on Main St at 10pm. It's SO GOOD there, you don't want to miss it ;)

If for some reason you get delayed wtih your 8pm seating, you could always watch from the beach, but it's just not that great of a view. =)

Who do you have in your party? I think that if you had your PS at 8, you'd have a fairly good chance to just go over to MK afterwards to watch Wishes there. Just be sure that you're not late for your P.S. Or maybe try to move up your PS a little bit just for the extra breathing room.

Yep, what they said!

Dang it:mad: I am in the EXACT same spot. I waited on hold for an hour an a half when they were so busy from the hurricanes to get the perfect PS time for watching Wishes from O'Hana. That's now all for naught. Yeah, Yeah I know "Subject to change" part.
Our PS are for 8:20 so we would be hard pressed to eat and then get over to MK for Wishes at 10:00.
I guess we (and everyone else) will try to get seated earlier and then get to MK for the fireworks.
This trip is just not meshing very well. Most frustarting planning yet.

is out of the question!

We are going to Typhoon Lagoon this day and I am not willing to burn a Major Day off of our Hoppers for a few hours after dinner.

We will see Wishes from inside the MK later in our vacation plus we will see the Special Wishes during the 11/30/04 MVMCP.

The rest of my planning has not been effected by the park hour changes.

So, what about Medivial Times?
Any Good??

Where is everyone finding the info on the time change? I must be missing something because I can't find it!! Any help?

We have 8:20 PS at Ohana on the 23rd too. I guess we'll just eat then hit the beach at the Poly. At least I should have time to set up my tripod before Wishes starts and it's a perspective of the fireworks I don't have yet. Thank goodness for telephoto lenses and wireless shutter releases ;)

OLT2004,
We haven't been to Medieval Times, but I wanted to suggest that you post a question about in on the "Orlando Hotels & Attractions" board. I've seen it discussed on there in the past. Have a great trip! :)

We watched Wishes from the Poly Beach on our last trip. No, it wasn't the same as from Main Street, but it was still a great view. The kids enjoyed playing in the sand while DH and I relaxed on the chairs. On the positive side, it's way more relaxing than Main Street.

The last couple of times we stayed at Polynesian, you couldn't hear the music from the beach. The view was ok. Since I've found the service at Ohana to be hit and miss, I would go with Medivial Times.:)

I find that at O'hana's you get seated after your PS time more than not. We always get seated about 15 minutes later than our PS.

We also seem to take 1 1/2 hours to eat. We do it at a slow pace after a long day at the park. This will have you finishing just as wishes starts or with just enough time to head to the beach. The view from inside is not great.

I would head for the beach and do the fireworks and the Electrical Water Pageant. It will be GREAT!!!

I would never cancel anything DISNEY for Medevil times...Just my 2 cents.

I've read that people really like Dixie Stampede.

dgaston,
Good suggestion! We love Dixie Stampede! We'll be spending Christmas evening there, watching the special Christmas show. Can't wait!:hyper:
