Can anyone tell me how the kid sitting works with Disney if the adults want to go out for the night? Do I need to sign up in advance? What is the usual fee? IS there somewhere on the internet that I can go to to look this information up?:surfweb:

Thank you!

This link will probably help. http://allearsnet.com/pl/childfaq.htm

I have never used the kids clubs but I have used Kids Nite Out and I thought the sitter was great. My kids loved her. We did book when we got to the hotel, but I think we took a real chance there and will definitely book in advance next time. I am thinking of booking them into a kids club at Boardwalk resort for a couple of hours this trip so DH and I can have a quiet non-rushed dinner at Flying Fish. I will call here shortly to reserve space if I can.

Have a great trip!

There is no kids club at BW...used to be but not anymore. There is one at BC, WL, Polynesian and perhaps AK. We have used the Neverland Club at the Polynesian several times and my dd loved it. In fact, she was depressed when she got too old for it!!! They take kids from 3-12...at least that's how it used to be.
The kids clubs are held in various resorts..see above...in a room apart from other areas. They will give the kids a meal or snack, depending on timing. There are various activities for the kids, depending on age and interests. At the Neverland Club, it was a Peter Pan theme. My dd told me there were limited video games, books, games, craft activities supervised by CMs, toys (both for girls and boys) or just areas for 'quiet time'. It's not cheap but it's a great thing.

I prefer the kids club because they get to play with other kids. I used the one at the GF and it was great. You get a beeper too.

thank you all for your responses. :thanks: I called WDW dining and reserved a spot at the sandcastle club at the yacht and Beach Club for my son to stay at.

I do like the idea of more children being there to play with than having a stranger alone in the room with my child better. (call me paranoid but now adays you never know right?)

thanks again and I can not wait, only 50 more days left!!!!
