I read a lot about people putting their kids in a club...just haven't had a lot of experience with finding out the "whats".

Can someone direct me to where I can get more information? I wouldn't mind an evening out just with my DH and I. Our kids are 9 & 7 years old.

THANKS!
Donna

Here is a link to the information on allears.

DD twice went to the Cubs' Den at the Wilderness Lodge last year. She loved it and still occassionally talks about things they did those nights.

With these clubs - are they too "juvenile" for a 7 & 9 year old?

I saw the list on Allears.net (thank you) but there wasn't really an explanation of each one. Do certain clubs offer more than others (maybe geared towards certain age groups)?

THANKS!

The Neverland at the Poly is the most elaborate and nicest. Be aware that it is now $11.50 hr PER child so for 2 kids it adds up.

Although I've only experienced the Cubs' Den at the WL, I've heard the Neverland Club at the Poly is the best of all the clubs.

The clubs are only for kids ages 4-12. Your kids are right in the middle of that range so I don't think the clubs are too "juvenile" for them. When my DD went last year, at age 5, she was the youngest one in the club both nights. The clubs have video games and show movies.

I guess I have a question to...how early in advance do you need to make reservations for kids club?

My DD (6.5) loves Simba's at the AK. There was a ton of stuff for the kids to do.

We have made ressies as late as the day before, but if you know you are going out, call and make the ressies.

My boys loved the Neverland Club - they were 7 & 4 at the time. They have already asked if they can go there for our next trip.

I took my 4 year old DS to the Neverland Club at Poly and he loved it. We will definitely take him there again. :goodvibes

We are trying out the Cub's Den this trip. I am positive my boys will love it. They love babysitters in general - they don't know all the "rules!"
We only use a sitter about 4 times a year at home, so this will be a big treat for them. (And us!!)

We used Sandcastle Club for DS on our last trip - definitely lots of things to do. DH and I walked (5 min) to Yachtsman for our one and only romantic dinner - DS stayed at the Club for 2 hours and he loved every minute. Honestly, I just loved that he was safe and nearby so I could relax and enjoy my meal.
