Disney Just Called Me

He also said that if I see someone without a band who might have tried some sneaky way to stay in the parks, that I should feel free to report them to the nearest CM.

O what a joy most of us would get out of THAT  . Like it's OUR job to go tell on somebody who doesn't have a wristband so some kid can be booted out of the park because Mom and Dad were trying to stay for free  . I for one will not being doing any such thing.

We will not be going to the party...does that mean I have to leave the park early (6pm)?

Yep, if you don't have a ticket for the party then any night a party is being held at MK, you will have to leave by 7:00p.

No wristband, no party.

JMO I dont like the fact that they are leaving the park open, I liked being put in to one land and coming back out to see the park transformed.

when is this? will it affect my trip 9/25-9/30?

This will affect your trip in a positive way if you are a day guest and get to stay in the park until 7:00 pm instead of 6:00. You get an extra hour at MK :cheer2:
It will affect your trip in a negative way because you get to deal with all the Moochers who are allowed to enter the parks at 4:00 pm instead of entering at 7:00 pm like the ticket that they paid for states. :sad2:

Oh yeah and it looks like less than half of you going have an annual pass so I guess that makes the majority of you Moochers.
:furious: Bring on the flames.........

I'm an AP holder.

I really don't see how Disney letting party goers enter with just their party tickets after 4:00p (a Disney policy) makes the party goers that take advantage of this unofficial perk 'moochers'. :confused3

Sorry, but IMHO, that's just silly. :stir:

Just because Disney has allowed early entry in the past does not mean that this is going to be the case this year. Also, not every ticket holder knows about this past "perk". Most day park goers have either AP's or multi-day passes. The cost of one day to the multi-day ticket holders for their having the option of 10 park hours (9-7)is more than likely less then the cost of the MNSSHP ticket which gets you 5 hrs (8 if they were to continue letting people in at 4).

Just as silly as those of you calling people who (knowingly or unknowingly of the 7:00 pm closing time) decide to stay in the park a little later than 6:00pm a moocher. You should have posted this reply to your fellow MSSNHGSDTTS (whatever you want to call it) when she called someone else a Moocher. You can "DIS" it out but you can't take it huh???

Sounds like it..........

He said that starting at 4PM, ticket holders will be allowed entrance and wristband distribution will commence at different locations throughout the MK....

The phone call I got from the Exective Offices stated that they may let people in at 5:30 or 6:00 with their party tickets, but no decision has been made. The reports are so conflicting that nothing can be assumed. I, for one, will be using a day of my MYW ticket to get in early regardless.

 Ok, whatever. I can see you just want to cause trouble and fight. Have fun. :wave2:

Such profound advice yet here we have 4 pages of people assuming that MK will be flooded with day guest staying after 7:00 pm. Again I say you should have given this advice to all the people on this thread spazzing out and assuming that day guests are going to run amuck after 7:00 pm. :confused3

As the OP, I am now even MORE confused because it seems so many of us have gotten conflicting information.

So I guess we now have to take the "wait and see" approach and wait to hear some reports after the first party.

Let's keep the posts positive, please. I hate reading negative comments on a topic that is having such an impact on future WDW guests. Obviously, there are MANY of us concerned that past practice will NOT be the case this year. So we're all hoping for a positive outcome. I just don't understand why the name calling is starting (non-AP holders are moochers?? :confused3 ). I guess I just don't follow that particular person's thought process.

Anyway, I had hoped my communication with the executive offices would have put a lot of us at ease, but like others have said, they're not all on the same page so folks, I think we are back to where this all began...

Oh no, Lil' ol' me causing trouble...No way! But I should be the one telling you to have fun...It looks like you will be on vacation in less than 2 days :cheer2: Girls only trips are always awesome! You have fun! (and I'm not going to give you an eye roll because I truly mean "Have a fun trip!!!"

It is not an assumption that the park will be flooded with day guests at 7pm, it is a fact. If the park closes at 7pm day guests will stay until the last minute (which they are entitled to do so) The concerns of everyone on this thread are valid. The chaos of people still in the parks trying to leave (and who knows how long that will take) while the partygoers are trying to get in and enjoy the party are enough to warrant all the complaints to Disney to have them clarify all the confusion. Just as the day guests are entitled to stay until 7pm, party goers are entitled to have their time in the park without having to worry about losing an hour or so waiting for the daytimers to leave before the festivities start. Which is exactly what Eric from the Exective Offices told me, and I quote, "No party activites will start until all day guests are cleared from the park, so don't worry, they won't be able to enjoy the festivities." Remember, they are entitled to a 10 hr day to play, party goers are only entitled 5 and to take an hour to clear the parks leaves only 4 hrs of party time. Those who bought tickets bought them for the festivities, not for stuff you can do any other time of the day.

Yet you do understand this thought process. :rotfl2: Give me a break! Don't be such a hypocrite!

Many thanks to all of you who emailed and made calls :thumbsup2
Hopefully Disney follows thru and clears all the Moochers out of the park.

. I don't feel much better than I did before about all this, to tell the truth, but at least they are getting the hint that ticketholders are not going to take encroachment lying down, and maybe just maybe, they'll be able to get most of the scammers out. We shall see.

Just as the parks will be flooded with event ticket holders in MK at 4:00 pm instead of 7:00 pm. Oh yeah and it is an assumption because there are no facts when dealing with Disney and the times that they decide to close the park. The only fact in the situation is that Disney can change the park closing time to whatever they want. Heck, they could decide to close at 8:00 pm and it's nothing that anyone on this board can do about it other than not go to ticketed event.
