New ‘Disney Junior Dance Party!’ Live Show Coming This Fall to Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Do you and your little ones love Disney Junior? Well, have we got great news for you!

This fall, there’s an all-new Disney Junior show coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios. “Disney Junior Dance Party!” is a high-energy, live show experience that takes its inspiration from the most popular Disney Junior shows on TV, including “Mickey and the Roadster Racers,” “Doc McStuffins,” “The Lion Guard” and the newest hit series “Vampirina.”

The new “Disney Junior Dance Party!” is a musically infused, interactive concert, hosted by Finn Fiesta and a DJ – named Deejay, of course – who involve you in all the fun, including live appearances from some of your favorite characters, fun music from Disney Junior and much more.

Keep checking Disney Parks Blog for updates as we get closer to the opening of “Disney Junior Dance Party!” later this fall.

Any guess on how long it will take to change over?
I'm guessing our late September trip will be too early.

It shouldn’t take that long to convert to a Dance Party setup because the EMH Dance Parties were held there prior to Dessert Parties sometimes needing that space.

It may be in place prior to your trip. :)

Oh man. We saw this at DisneyLand and my son had a blast dancing. We will be there second week of September. Might be too early.

My daughter is obsessed w/ Vampirina and loves to dance. This party will be a “must-do” if up and running early September, fingers crossed!

Hoping this is open for our early October trip. My daughter loves Vampirina.

And with a trip also in August we'll have one last chance to do the Disney Junior show. The kids might miss it but I won't. Not a big fan of sitting on the ground!

Based on the photo below, I think that's correct.

Ever since the SW dessert party was moved indoors, they no longer need that space as the weather backup venue.

Awesome!

We've grown tired of DHS live on stage, but my kiddos (6 and 4) will love this. Hopefully it still has a FP+ (not that it was ever needed, but two Tier 2's can be hard for us to make use of in DHS (so I can try for another Tier 1)...).

If it’s the same set up as Disneyland, you’ll still be sitting on the ground. My daughter also loves vamperina and I hope they add her to the Disneyland dance party. Though it looks like they “dumped” Sophia to accommodate Vamperina.

I am hoping this will be open mid October when we go. My DS saw an ad for a touring Disney Junior Dance Party show and he wanted to go but we were not able to go to it.

I just watched the Disneyland version online; it looks cute. But I'm going to be bummed if they dump the Sofia "Make Some Noise" segment - that is a great song and is one of the best things about Sofia, the use of wide-ranging musical styles like the retro Big Band feel here. If they have to can one of the old segments, I'd rather they dropped Doc.

Does this mean we're getting a walk-around Vampirina?

Hooray for the possibility of Vampirina! My daughter will be so excited :) Thanks for sharing this!

Apologize if there is already a thread about this that I’ve missed, but I saw on the Disney Parks Blog that Disney Jr. Live on Stage is being replaced with the Disney Jr. Dance Party.

My son is really into the Disney Jr. shows right now, and this show looks better than the last one (and more updated). It’s definitely something we will want to see.

My question is probably a long shot, but is there any speculation around the scheduling of this show? Like, will it follow a similar schedule to the current show? The new show debuts after my Fastpass date, and I was hoping to have an idea of scheduling by then.

I just found out that Disney Junior: Live on Stage is closing just before our Sept trip. I'm so sad - my kids loved this show and love the puppets. The screens at the new Disneyland one just aren't the same. I was wondering if anyone knew what would happen with the Disney Junior Meet and Greet that is usually right outside the show? Will this be closing along with the show or would it keep running while the show is closed? My kids have their hearts set on seeing Doc, Jake, and Sofia again. I didn't see anything announced on this yet did anyone else? Thanks for your thoughts!!
