We will be in Disney July 4-8 and we will be going one day to a park. Any suggestions as to which park might be the least crowded and on which day to go? How about fireworks? We will be staying at OKW. Where will be the best place to see fireworks?

You're looking at really big crowds the whole time. I would definitely avoid MK on the 4th. Last time we were there, it was unbelievably crowded---shoulder to shoulder in Fantasyland. It was nearly impossible to steer a stroller through there! In years past we went to the Studios and it wasn't as bad. Also, be sure to go prepared to beat the heat!!!

Well, it will be very, very busy during the time that you're here. Get to the parks very early each day, before opening. Avoid the park that has the EMH evening that day. Go to Epcot on July 4th because it handles the crowds best. Get there early and remember that if you leave you may not be able to get back in. All of the fireworks on July 4th are awesome, so no worries there. Good luck!!

we were originally going to try and be at MK on the 4th and just tough it out for the entire day until we see the fireworks but we changed our mind for 2 reasons. 1) the crowds will be crushingly crowded :crowded: :crowded:
2) because the rest of m family is arriving later on in the morning we figured just to wait and get them settled in at our resort and go to MGM and see the fireworks there. we were considering going to epcot figuring the size of epcot could handle the crowds better but we lucked out in getting an illuminations cruise for the 5th so that is why we decided to go to MGM.

i am guessing that the bulk of the crowds will be at MK and epcot

as far as the rest of your stay get there early, use your fastpasses wisely and you will do ok. we always travel in july and always have a great time.

Epcot absorbs crowds the best of all the parks. Avoid the MK......unless you absolutely adore mobs! It's tough to even walk!

Our itinerary has us at Epcot on the 4th. So glad we planned it that way. Will definitely stick to that now that I have read all the tips. We are going to do Epcot early, go back to the resort (POR) for a swim and maybe a nap, then on to Ohana for dinner. I have been told, and of course read, that it is a wonderful place to watch the fireworks.
