Disney Jr. Characters

I've seen in some posted Navigators that two activities, Disney Jr. Pirates and Princess Dance Party, and Wake Up With Disney Junior, are listed in the schedule under "characters". Does anyone know if Jake and Princess Sophia and Doc McStuffins are there, do just the main characters like Mickey and Minnie come to these?

We did the Disney Jr breakfast our first morning on the fantasy last month. We saw Jake, Princess Sophia, Doc McStuffins, and Mickey. It was great!

Hi! I was on the panama canal cruise earlier this year and Jake, Doc, and Sofia were on there.

Wake Up With Disney Jr generally has Jake come - they dance to Roll Up The Map and Talk Like A Pirate from Jake and the Neverland Pirates.

Oh - and I'm pretty sure Sofia and Jake both came to the Pirates and Princesses Dance Party, I just can't remember for sure.

Any given cruise, or any given day on a cruise, may not have a particular character due to illness or other scheduling conflict. That's why there's never any guarantee of exactly which characters one might see other than the main Mickey, Minnie, etc. Presumably there are understudies available for those but not the rest.

OP -- for cruise activities reference to "Disney Jr. characters" means those such as Jake, Sofia, Doc. There may be some variation to that as PP mentions Sofia wasn't available. The traditional Mickey and Friends will almost always be on all cruises, but not necessarily at events dubbed as "Disney Jr." Which princesses are onboard can vary but generally somewhere between 3-5 princesses on each cruise. I believe Anna and Elsa are both on most cruises now, but there are some reports of only one or the other. Various other characters as available.
