Disney Jibbitz dilema

Does anyone know if the Jibbitz sold at DW have a better connection than regular ones? My Disney Crocs have larger holes than the regular Crocs and I have lost several Jibbitz. This adds up, monetarily, but I love them and want to add some new ones to my collection. Also, where is the best selection of Jibbitz in DW? Are there different ones available in different spots? Thanks, in advance, for any help you can supply.

You can actually buy them direct from Jibbitz.com http://www1.jibbitz.com/store/ and they are a bit cheaper than Disney although there is a shipping charge of $3 but you can order a lot for the same shipping charge.

It does say there that the Jibbitz aren't compatible with Disney Crocs because of the size of the Mickey holes.

Hi gang ! This works great in my DD(10)'s Disney crocs. When we first purchased them at the beginning of the summer, she told me that once in a while a jibbitz would fall out. I went to the hardware store and bought some rubber washers, put them on the inside of the croc, and inserted the jibbitz thru the hole in the croc and thru the washer. Works great ! We didn't lose a single jibbitz all summer, and my DD wears her crocs everywhere (10 days in Disney in Aug.) ! Make sure you get washers that just fit around the jibbitz "peg". Good luck !! :thumbsup2

Thanks so much for such a simple solution. I'll be heading to the hardware store shortly. The second part of my original post has gone unanswered. Any help on where the best selection of Jibbitz within the parks will be helpful.

hi -

i love crocs and my jibbitz!!! i searched everyplace for a castle jibbit when at WDW in September - unfortunately, no body had them!!! I think the Emporium and World of Disney had the best selection, but really there were more disney ones that i thought they would have that they didnt - have fun with them!!!

WE were there in Sept. and spent most of our trip collecting Disney jibbitz. We were very excited though to find Disnet ones at our local Learning Express store...and at our Croc stand at our mall we even found Chip & Dale which itsn't even on the jibbitz site!

Although I had pre-purchased some Disney Jibbitz for my two DD's on our recent trip (jewelryinabag.com....a little cheaper then the Jibbitz site), I wanted to wait and get the castle while we were there. The only place we ended up finding the castles were on a cart in Adventureland, near the Dole Whip stand :thumbsup2

Hi Thanks for the tip!! Thats one jibbitz i feel i should just get there, you know?

thanks, wendy

ps - do you think get the Christmas ones pre disney or at disney on new years (or will they all be gone?)

Pretty sure they are only disney ones. I know the only place the past two times I was able to locate the castle one was the cart near dole whip in adventureland like someone mentioned. THey were out of them at the larger destinations. This of course is subject to change

My DH had used a rubber ring that he had in the toolbox when I put my first one on because it seemed so easy to go in the hole. I then went on ebay to see about getting more jibbitz because our store carries so few....and found a family selling a "special device" to keep your jibbitz from falling out. I wrote asking for a picture and they refused....I've always figured it was because it was just a rubber disk like DH used....but they were selling them for $4 for a package of 5 (I think).

I eventually went to the hardware store and looked around a little....and was able to find rings that were thinner than what DH had available. The ones he had always "flopped" when I put my foot in and it felt weird to push against it and have it bounce back against my skin. Found thinner and no more flop. I don't think I paid $1 for a whole package of them.
