Disney IT Frustration

I was trying to get my niece an Enchant Key so she could go with us on our next trip. I was in the queue for over 2 hours. Got in and loaded everything up. Went to finalize and it just spun forever. I tried to get it to work for about an hour and then the Enchant Keys were sold out.

I have also been looking at onsite hotels. I don’t want to pay the Grand Californian prices this time and I’m worried about Paradise Pier value with the construction. Disneyland Hotel has been sold out. But as I was checking a room at DLH opened up. I loaded it in my cart but every time I tried to proceed to checkout it just returned to the cart screen. I tried for about 30 minutes. Then I needed to run an errand and when I checked again about an hour later the room was gone.

I'm guessing this was direct through Disney. I asked in another thread if people would be wary of going through hotels.com and no one seemed worried about it. You could try booking through a third party site?

It is. Disney has the discount. But I will check out other sites.

Also try calling Disney and explaining what happened. It may be too late now, but if the site isn't working, you might have more luck with a phone call. You could still keep the reservation in your cart and explain on the phone that it won't go through.

I sure hope you're able to get it. That's a horrible feeling when you get that close and it just goes poof.

Disney IT has unfortunately been terrible forever, and they just don't seem bothered to fix it. Bummer that happened to you though.
