Disney is sending me "extra" Magic Bands?

I received an email on Friday from Disney saying that my Magic Bands had shipped. However, we received our Magic Bands over three weeks ago for our trip this week. I checked the tracking number this morning and they were sent 2-day delivery. They are supposed to arrive today. Has this happened to anyone else? Any reason why they would be sending us more Magic Bands?

Likely a records glitch.
Better to have too many than not enough.

As Robo said keep them. I can imagine that returning them or contacting Disney about them causing problems.

Have you already linked the first ones to your MDE Account? If so the only way the second batch will work is if you link them also. otherwise make sure to keep them separate and take the linked ones with you to avoid headache. Have a great trip!

My thought was that they came linked already if received as resort guest - not correct?
Fine either way, but will want to link in advance if I need to do it.

You are right. MagicBands that you customize as part of your resort reservation are already linked to the MDE account.

Do you have multiple reservations?
