Disney will be PodCasting many of the events taking place as part of the 50'th Celebration. You can find out more at: http://tinyurl.com/9meap

They plan to add new programming over the next few days. Right now there is a "welcome" program available.

If you don't know what PodCasting is, it is a way to download audio, download it to your MP3 player and listen to it at your convenience. If you don't have an MP3 device, you can always just listen to them on your PC. By downloading them to your MP3 player, you can then listen whenever and whereever you are.

Ooooooh Boy. Oh Oh Oh Ohhhhhhh Boy! :earseek:

If you have any questions, let me know. Enjoy the show!

Thanks for the heads up! I've never heard of this, but I'm giving it a try. Cool idea, though!

I never heard of "podcasting" before! Gah! This is way too cool.
Thanks for the link!

Is July here YET???

THanks for the heads up! I need to download these on to my Ipod for on the go liste  ning!!!!

Hi. I downloaded the iPodder, but when I click on the actual link, the audio comes up and plays on my computer thru the aol media player. Did I do something wrong, or is that what I should expect? (Sounds interesting, by the way!)

Both ways are correct. If you click on the link, you will be able to directly listen.

If you use the Ipodder, the software will download the MP3 file, and then import it into your software that you use with your MP3 player (iPod, rio, etc) and when you sync them, the track will be loaded so you can listen whereeveryou go.

Hope that helped....

I am LOVING the Podcast!!!!! So cool and interesting!

It is great stuff. I feel like I am walking around the park! I just won't say it's almost like being there. It certainly isn't, but I'll take it for now! It's certainly better than nothing!

I am very very very untechnical (if that's a word!!)!!!! I've downloaded the iPodder to my PC (I haven't got an MP3 player) but nothing happens when I click on it. Please can you walk me through it in easy steps???

Let's start with a few questions....
  1. Do you have an MP3 player of any brand (Apple iPod, Creative Rio, etc)?
  2. Do you know how to listen to MP3s at all?
  3. Did you see the iPodder do anything after you started it up?

If nothing else, you should see a line item for Disneyland in the list of "stations" (actually web site locations). Click "F5" to make iPodder go out and get new files. At that point it should download everything up to that point. If you have software such as iTunes (for the iPod) or MMJ for other MP3 players, thjat software will open and the downloaded files will be added. That software is not a requirement. Just right-click on what ever was downloaded and select "Play episode in media player". that should open software, such as Windows Media Player (or whatever other software you have defines as the default player) and the file should play!

Thats all there is to it.

Any more questions, please feel free to write.

The only thing I had listed was from 5/3. Has 5/4 been uploaded yet?

Just pulled it down at about 11:15AM EDT

I downloaded the iPODDER but had to click on the green Check for New Podcasts to download the feeds, then go to the Downloads tab at the top and then click on the arrow to the left of the feed title to play.

There are feeds from the WDW celebration as well if anyone is interested. Just add the following new feed:

If you don't have an iPod or MP3 player, you can also burn it to a CD-R and play it in most CD players.
I did this yesterday with the first one and played it back in my car on my way to work this morning. I'm planning to do the same thing with the one from the 4th.

After I figured out what to click to download the podcasts, it worked beautifully with my Itunes software.

AWESOME stuff :goodvibes , I have visited Dsineyland and read a bit about the history but even I learned some new things and have some new stuff to look for when we go next Saturday.

Thank you OP!!!
